When i first heard it, this song gave me goosebumps and made me cry. It's like farewell with most of the characters I got connected emotionally from all previous Kiseki series.
The most intense elevator ride. It started with the Sky trilogy, the Zero/Azure duology, the Sen quadrilogy, and now the story of western Zemuria comes to an heart pounding conclusion

I loved this segment, everything from Sky 1 leads up to this final mission with your favorite heroes from Liberl, Crossbell, and Erebonia. This dungeon theme makes you feel like this is really it. More than an hour of goosebumps, nothing else mattered. glad they topped it all off with endgame content full of fanservice. can't wait to see Kuro.
This song feels nostalgic when it is the last game released of the series at this point of my comment. It gives so many goosebumps and chills. I love it.
Now that's what I'm talking about. It's epic it feels so sad at the same time. It's like the game is trying to prepare you to say goodbye to all the characters that you met in the previous arcs while telling to move forward because the future is filled with hope.
@@buttertoast1146 Up until this point we always changed the cast of characters for new arcs. Falcom's president confirmed that the next arc will feature a new cast. Though that doesn't mean that we will never see the other characters again but they won't be at the center of the story anymore.
I think Lapis and Rufus as well their companions might appear again. Cedric and Ouroburous of course will be back again. I hope the next arc focuses on Calvard and the Septerian Church more.
Falcom team, you made me hear this song and now I can't wait for the English port! This is so cool. Maximum vibes that something magical, twisted and deep is coming.
Jindo created a masterpiece with this track. It perfectly embodies the sense Of finality of the Western Zemuria arcs. Somber and hits you right in the feels.
This theme fits best when you enter the dungeon for the second time to save Rufus. This theme plays, Rufus saying his last words and the party shares their feeling.
Completely unrelated but I find it funny how the Trails series and the Kingdom Hearts series took about the same amount of time to conclude their first half of their stories KH1 release date - 2002. KH3 release date - 2019. 17 years Sky FC release date - 2004. Hajimari's release date - 2020. 16 years Trails is the better series tho but still pretty cool how they both finished their first halfs nearly at the same time, yet still have a long way to go. At least with trails I see it having an ending in sight eventually since the story revolves around ouroboros and the septerrions. I can't say the same for kh though lol
"Reverse Striped Babel" This track is stunning. I can hardly find the words to describe it. It's so unlike Spiral of Erebos and End of SAGA, yet it feels so fitting for the end of this saga. My congratulations to the composer, whoever it is.
This is so somber and "finale" like, compared to most of the final dungeon themes in the series, it's really good. Makes me wonder what sort of theme we'll be getting once we reach the actual end of the series.
Btw you don't need to keep entering the final dungeon to hear this song because once you complete the game and in character viewer this place is available to be selected and you can keep listening to this masterpiece

Great final dungeon osts, at least in this aspect falcom hasn't failed, every final dungeon ost is fitting for the context of the story at each point so much that I can't say one is better than the other. They are all uniquely fitting in their respectives contexts
Agreed. Every final dungeon fits each game's current narrative. I really love how subdued and sombre this track is. Especially knowing this is the last game before we move onto Calvard.
I love how subdued it sounds compared to other final dungeons in the CS saga. They could've just gone full MEGA EPIC SUPER LOUD route considering this is the last time we're playing as the current cast, but I'm glad they took a bolder approach, it's impeccable thematically.

Quite simply, the BEST track in Hajimari- no, ALL of Trails. The intensity is presented in a form of a somber tone, giving a sense of finality as well. This is it. The final dungeon. The last crisis Class VII, Liberl Team, SSS, and the first Crisis C's team will deal with. And once this crisis is resolved. A new beginning, and a new future will unfold, for Zemuria as a whole.
