Absolutely looking forward to the arrival of this Mando, he looks awesome! Glad to see he's starting to pop up in shops in Canada now. I've had him on pre-order forever (well, since May 4th) and it's been a long time coming! The helmet is definitely a better sculpt than the awful original, but I might still consider using my other more detailed OT Customs helmet instead if its more screen-accurate finish isn't too different than Hasbro's finish, which at least appears better than the original beskar attempt.
I have the Mafex one on a dewback with Grogu currently and he’ll be staying there. I have this new guy on the way though, and I’m looking forward to fitting him into the display! Great review as always!

I've got this figure on preorder and I can't wait for him to become available in the US. I only have the original and the first Beskar Armor Mando figures so far, I wasn't going to get all the different variations with Grogu... too expensive.
I'm looking forward to having the new version of the Dark Saber, the soft goods cape, and the improved helmet, huge improvement over the first Beskar figure.

Looks really good actually. I recently sold my Mando from the Grogu 2-pack from Target, wanted to take a look at this one before deciding between BS and Mafex 2.0. Still going for Mafex, I just prefer having more accessories/alternate hands.

Im picking up 2 one to leave in box and one to display
The paint job is what makes this figure for me. But the articulation just isn't where I want it to be, and the chunky joints just don't look that great to me. Definitely in the top 3 Mandos, but I'm holding out for the Mafex 2.0.

I actually pre-ordered that Mandalorian one month ago but I pre-ordered it from gamestop but it still hasn't got a ride because it still hasn't been released
I’m surprised to hear that you didn’t like the newest Figuarts Mando, because I think he’s really good. Definitely way better than all the other Figuarts Mandos. I don’t know what it is about the helmets on the black series Mandos looking off to me, but even this one, while definitely better, still looks strange to me.

Looks, great, a vast improvement over the previous BS mandos, I look forward to eventually getting it.
Something not mentioned here but it's nice that even though he doesn't include it he still has the hole in his back for the rifle to plug into if you have one from one of the previous versions.
Couldn't quite tell--does the figure have butterfly joints?

This is absolutely my most anticipated figure with my most anticipated wave. All of them are a pickup

welp, as expected, i'm gonna buy at least 2 more Mandos (the Mafex 2.0 that just got delayed and Black Series of course).
I'm gonna stay clear of SHF ...good for action poses, good accessories but the proportions and sculpt just aren't my cup of tea.
The next question is should we go for the Hasbro Mando in Book of Boba Fett packaging now or wait for the already announced one that is almost the same but has different accessories in Mandalorian line packaging. (like are they going to adjust some of the colors? i'm not in love with how red the belt looks, the Mafex belt looks like actual leather and that is 90% just color choice, and maybe 10% the better sculpt)
... and am i still going to like my old Hasbro Mandos when the new one is in hand? I got the snowy and muddy ones as well ;P
I don't have a Din yet, gonna wait for this one to go on sale. I just wish we could remove the helmet, since everyone already knows who he is under it.

SHF s3 is pretty solid imo, I’m getting my Black Series Mando today or Monday so I’m interested to see how it compares to the Mafex and SHF in person.
Same man. I think Figuarts wins in terms of articulation and detail, Mafex is just amazing to look at and its proportions look great, and Black Series is just great bang for your buck.
@@marinko6450 Definitely agree. I put all three next to each other and although I really like the SHF (and even Mafex), the Black Series is really good for the price.
I will say though that the prices are all pretty comparable once you include the accessories
God damn. Had the Mafex and sold it. Have the S2 SHF and the thing is straight up falling apart (which sucks because I can’t sell it).
It’s sad how much this $25 BS puts both of those $80-90 imports to shame. This is by far the superior figure.
I’d buy this in a heartbeat if it came with alternate hands. Wish Hasbro would start doing this 😩

The gun is new. The new one has wood grain texture on the grip. The old one doesn't.
I’ve pretty much written off most black series releases anymore but I might have to bite on this one. With a better case this may be the best Mando to date

I wish your reviews were more indepth as you always get these figures early compared to some of the more in depth channels, like fwoosh. I understand wanting to make a quick and concise review but sometimes you miss things, like the storage for the darksaber in this video, and you never go in depth with the articulation
