Darius Salamancus If you actually really knew languages and songs, you'd know that they had no choice. This happens to every song, because words have to be shortened and lengthened depending on the words. In Spanish, for example, a lot of one words in English is two words, others are vice versa; it depends. I translated "I'm no beauty queen" and it came back: "No soy reina de belleza." If they translated the real song's lyrics into Spanish, the timing would be totally off, and I'm not talking about just one lyric, but all of it. I tried singing a Japanese song using the Japanese-to-English lyrics from online, and it was off. There's an English version sung by a singer who knows Japanese, and while the message was almost the same, it was still very different *but* went along with the melody. The words *have* to be changed regardless.
