    Once I found out about splitter it became one of my favorites lol. Since I don’t have fabfilter saturn, I mainly use it as multiband saturation 😊

    I know you probably hear this all the time Mike, but you really are a great teacher. You have an awesome way of including all people at any level and you leave no one behind. You help the little guys become the big guys. Thank you for that! Hope you’re well 🍻

    Super informative and very helpful. I knew about the splitter tool but never really used it. I was doing the old bus method as you presented at the beginning of your video but I can see the potential of splitter, not only for vocal processing but also creating massive Mai Tai sounds.

    In the first part of the video, you were using the reverb and compressor pre-fader. Wouldn't you need the splitter to be at the very top of the chain to achieve the same end result?

  • @shimmersairwaves
    @shimmersairwaves Před rokem

    I was considering splitter, but I didn't understand how to make sure that the effect of the same compression or reverse remained, since I did exactly the same thing in nuendo and studio one.

    I don't understand why presonus doesn't add a bypass button on the splitter to AB the changes or effects.

    Mike: I noticed that the plugins you put into each side of the splitter were also in the main chain prior to the splitter. It seems as if S1 should then apply the plugins twice, once in the main chain then again in the split. Am I missing something? The couple times I've tried to use this, I only place plugins in the split section. I'm slightly confused.
