Coming back to this, this was a perfect ending, probably the best of all the "endings" to the show they could come up with if they really wanted to leave it.

This was the most emotional episode ending I've ever seen. This song by patti smith makes you really feel the emotions of that ending. I honestly don't think theirs's no better way to end it then like this. I've been following this series since 2000 when it first came out. I remember staying up late as a kid after hours and randomly seeing this with the Rabbot episode playing on the cartoon network channel. That's back when Adult Swim still had the old people swimming in a inside pool. I became very attached to the show at that point on and kept staying up late just to watch the newer episodes of season 1. The memory of Aqua teen Hunger force will forever live in my heart along with the exciting feeling of having to wait for a new episode to come on every Sunday night. That show helped me get through all of the good and bad times growing up. Thank you Dave Willis for bringing this show to life and giving us a laughter like no other! AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE...………….FOREVER!!!!!!!!
As someone who grew up watching this and has the movie and all seasons on DVD, I can day this was saddening. I cried when they stopped making this show, it really helped me get through hard times and now I'm shedding a tear again

I think it's Meatwad's soul stone, the reason he eventually grew up, as Frylock said Meatwad was 33 in one episode. For being a comedy that ending made a lot of sense.
