  • The margin for victory is quite small, the game time is quite long, and the winner walks away a champion! Some intense gameplay must certainly be around the corner. Watch as Andrew tries to defend NBN's central servers from the constant Andromeda onslaught! Can he buy himself enough time to establish his fast-advance server or will the ever-present Criminal threat prove to be too much?

    Great vídeo guys. Enjoyable commentary and a nice way of showing basic information without clogging the screen.
    Keep up the good work.

    Whoops - Private Contracts shown instead of Professional Contacts at 6:50 :P
    Regardless, amazing game, was great fun to watch!

    Great stuff as always guys. Would love to see Top 8s (hell, Top 16s!) of these tier of championships. I know it's a lot more work for you - but these are the best Netrunner videos out there :D

      Thanks so much! We've got the finals from our store Top 8 soon. They'll be recorded this weekend.

    With the way the new tournament scoring is (a flatline being a 10-0) victory shouldnt they always play out the second game in case the corp can achieve a flatline.

      I think they still use the old tournament scoring for the top 8.

    With match scoring the way it is - that was great fun to watch. Tim Bunn - speak up!!

    Hey guys great job on these videos! I was wondering if there was any chance in the later videos to get things like deck profiles and such? Keep up the amazing work! :D

      Some players aren't interested in sharing their decklists, so we don't force the issue. It's something we're looking at, though!

    Damn that sucks it would encourage corps to run both win conditions, which is flavorful, and would ensure all games get played to completion. I hate games ending early.

    How is it possible there are only ten people watching the game live. Half of them journalists.

    im new to net runner just wonder why he is rolling a die every time he runs at the HQ to choose a card from the hand... is it just his style or is that the rule

    • @teamcovenant
      @teamcovenant  Před 10 lety +3

      That's just his style. It really makes life a lot easier, since you don't hold yourself accountable for "picking the wrong card", and it's more random. But some of us like to do the "heart grab"!

    why does the runner only needed 3 agenda points in this game to win instead of 7?

    • @gregorymckenzie7029
      @gregorymckenzie7029 Před 9 lety

      Because the score stands at 7 - 2 after game 1 and its most points after 2 games 1 as the corp and 1 as the runner

    why is it only 3 agenda points to win

    • @teamcovenant
      @teamcovenant  Před 10 lety +1

      The Netrunner Tournament rules specify how a player wins a match. The points needed for the second game are determined by how many points the losing player scored in the first game.

      The games used to be matches of two, and the person who "lost less" would win if each one one of the matches. Glad they changed that system.

    It's Private 'Contracts', not 'Contacts'... Otherwise good commentary, though.

    Why is the runner shuffling the Corp's deck when invited to cut. I feel that is a breach of etiquette.

    • @teamcovenant
      @teamcovenant  Před 10 lety +2

      It's pretty common practice in other card games. Basically, you have the right to randomize the opponent's deck if you feel it wasn't properly shuffled. Just a security measure at an important event like Worlds, but you'll find that most players just take the cut regardless.

      its legal in any game that has cuts
