No doubt Jimi was a huge influence to Stevie and all props to Jimi as the innovator, but Stevie was 12 years younger, so Jimi had a head start on him. I find Stevie is more precise/cleaner in his playing than Jimi. He also has covered a couple more of Jimi's songs {Third Stone from the Sun, Little Wing and you've already heard Voodoo Child} as well that you might want to pursue eventually. The "Life Without You" suggestion is one Stevie wrote about his friend Charlie Wirz that owned a guitar shop and had a special white guitar made for him that he'll play when doing the Capitol theater performance, watch out for it. That performance might be better than the Texas Flood one you just viewed. Also give some consideration to his rendition of "Mary Had A Little Lamb", yeah the nursery rhyme, live from Austin City Limits show in 1989. The rabbit hole here is more like the Grand Canyon of his catalog IMHO. Others will probably also suggest his "Sound Check" here on YT of him cranking it up after just being awakened to go through the motions. Hopefulyy SRV reactions will bring more eyeballs to your channel as he has a nice following. As far as YT blocking, from comments from other reaction channels they suggest pausing at times through the video or placing a sort of screenlike cover over the video to get it approved. Probably 99% of viewers have already seen that video and are focused on your reaction, not the actual performance, so go for it. King Crimson though would be best pursued on your own as they, Robert Fripp the founder, doesn't allow anything virtually through the cracks. They and the Eagles are staunch blockers from comments I've gathered from other channels. My best guess as to Stevie always wearing a hat might be due to some baldness that you can see in some of his videos here on YT as well as homage to Jimi's style.

But if you don't recognize "Mary Had A Little Lamb" as the nursery rhyme we grew up with as children here in the states, this probably won't have the impact that it does on us. It's how this nursery rhyme should be presented to all children IMO.
