Yes bro, the Egg and etc, Mr Bungle is top of weirdness but top music too.
The amount of TALENT in this group is beyond understanding. Remember, this was a high school band to begin with. And most of the songs on the first album were written when the guys were pretty young. And this is absolutely massive. There's not a SECOND of dead air, Everything goes together like it was meant to be, although it's absolutely bonkers.

You should really check out the newest release from Mr Bungle called "The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny". It's a re-recording of their original demo. they have a new drummer in Dave Lombardo from slayer, and a new rhythm guitarist in Scott Ian of anthrax. it is one of the heaviest albums ever. there's no funk at all in it whatsoever. it is brutal thrash. and it is so freaking awesome.

As I told you ( if you read my message earlier, I guess it was a bit of a challenge, but it paid off, didn't it?😏) expect nothing but weirdness and I must say it will only be more and more amazing, wacky, wild and funny ! 😀 ...You can bet on that. 🤓 You know, they sometimes make songs that should sound `normal`, in a way of a classical song arrangement, already known to most, simple, with one or two genres at most ! ..🙂 But...even these songs...😅🤣 I tell ya, even these `simple` songs have something....that ends up being.... funny...and absurd!😄😜As if `normality` could be just another parody for them - but of their standard illogical songs.😂😃 You`ll see, you'll get there.😊On the other hand, you can catch some of that ` good old metal` quality in the opening tracks of this album that you've already heard, but I think the most `metal` work of this album is towards the end... When you finally get close to "My Ass is on Fire" and "Love is a Fist", you`ll find out what metal is to them, my brother, I promise... The rest of the songs do quite well with this gentle, quiet, jazzy, soulful quality that these guys also possess, even though it's still weird, which you will find out as you continue to listen to this album, but, man, when you come to hear those `metal` songs that I named at the end - you will know the true meaning of the noise, which is so huge that it is difficult even for people who are common and known `metal-heads`...😈 So, just wait!...🙂😉 And keep listening to this album. Very cool reaction and I can`t wait for the next one... and that would be for "Carousel"... Now, that`s a crazy ride. 😎 Alright, Mr. Bungle!!🥴😋😄😆😀Thank you so much, man.... Cheers! 🙂😊

stubb a dubb doesn't have much guitar in it but very strangely its still my favorite's bungle song. the song so good it doesn't need guitar lol piano and saxophone carry it and does a good ass job doing so!
