A Grandmother’s Prayer for Her Grandchildren to Saint Anne
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Dearest St. Anne, grandmother of our Lord and Savior, on behalf of all my grandchildren; kindly pray for their necessities, for their intentions and for their aspirations.
God knows how much I cherish each tender soul, and each precious face. On the day they were born, a tremendous joy and love was also born in my soul.
O loving Saint Anne, I petition you to kindly include the following intercessions.
To the Holy Trinity, One God, may he grant an outpouring of tender mercies when my grandchildren experience brokenness; healing, when my grandchildren are sick; and comfort, when they face the storms of life.
To the Glorious, Holy, Almighty Father, may he give them everlasting peace, everlasting joy, and everlasting life.
To the Precious Lord Jesus, the Good Shepherd, may he gather them into his Sacred Heart and his name be forever written on each little heart.
To the Holy Spirit, never-failing Light and Helper, may my beloved grandchildren always be known by the fruits of the Spirit and be sustained by the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord.
To the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Mystical Body of Christ, may she dispense many graces upon my grandchildren, especially the grace of total dedication, and may they always be remembered in the Queen of Heaven’s powerful prayers.
To the nine Choirs of Angels, Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, Archangels, and Angels, may they bless each precious soul with the might and protection of their power, the breadth of their intelligence, and the fervor of their love.
O Sweet Saint Anne, your intercessions fill my soul with hope and gladness.
May God bless each grandchild with the grace of light and strength as they pursue a virtuous life.
O most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on them.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for them.
Saint Anne, Grandmother of our precious Savior, pray for them.
Angel of God, their guardian dear,
to whom God's love commits them here, ever this day be at their side,
to light and guard, to rule and guide.
Amen.
