My bias is Pharita. But I rooted hardest for Ruka. Being so much older than the rest, the pressure had to more. Like YG said, even if Rora or Asa didn't make it (as if) they still had a long bright future ahead regardless. At age 20 at the time, the same could hardly be said for Ruka. In her introductory video, she was in tears as she felt like her life hadn't amounted to much at that point compared to her friends and how badly she wanted her mom to see her debut. Ruka is such a beautiful person inside and out. You just can't help but root for her. I think all that pressure to finally be released was evident in her reaction upon hearing her name. The most poignant moment of the video, along with Haram balling out at the end. 🤣🤣🤣

Asa and Rora held their emotions because they were still waiting to hear of their fate. At that time, it was still unknown what was to happen to them. Wouldn't you want to wait to hear out YG before reacting? Asa broke out with emotion only after hearing the FINAL outcome. There was no more point in holding back. No more waiting for an answer. But you're also right, it does take strength not to immediately react to something that huge. But wanting to know your future I think took precedence.

this was filmed like late 2022 early 2023. so they would already have their birthday's(some of them). They are now 14-21. Chiquita is 14, and Ruka is 21(going to be this year)
Also, the fact that their older because the show was filmed last year. They’re beauty really matured in a way it looks sophisticated. All of them where pretty and cute but rora legit looks like a k drama actress

I believe this was indeed shot live during May 12 because of their hairstyle. And so we can assume that they already watched all their pre-debut contents in youtube.
And so it was understandable why Ahyeon and Chiquita were so calm. Aside from the fact that they have bright personalities, they already had a feeling they'll be part of the debut lineup based on the feedbacks in the Last Evaluation.
And so it was more understandable that why Ruka was the most emotional. She already had worries about her not debuting as she said on the introduction video. Plus, the Last Evaluation series didn't help in her favor, tbh. She must have had so much pent-up anxieties.
What surprise me is Rora, the girl is unusually tough for her age. Either she thought it was fine to debut later or simply because she went blank for a moment there.
No way! They were informed well before May. They've been active as a group for several months, either doing clips for their social media accounts or visiting the YG building on numerous occasions. The Last Evaluation was shot a year ago. They're not going to be active at YG while their status is unknown. All those visits only means they've been actively preparing for their debut.
Look! The scene of them hugging each other at the end was shown as a teaser in March. And the May 12 episode was NOT live indicated by ages of the girls. Clearly based on that, the episode was recorded in 2022.

No.1. You clearly have not watched a lot of survival show. If you do, then you'l know it is normal for trainees to continue preparing for their debut until the very last minute. In fact, if you watched LE SSERAFIM'S docu, you'll notice that they are already practicing for debut without finalizing the lineup.
No.2. The evaluation was indeed filmed last year. But that doesn't mean they cannot film the latest content recently. But I might have to change my previous statement: It is not that the reaction was shot "live" during May 12. But it was shot "live" during the announcement. The difference is, it might not have been during May 12 but earlier. Meaning, it is like they are watching a premiere.

You were wrong. He was right. The last evaluation started filming last spring based on Jennie’s hair color, meaning the shooting ended last summer or fall. They are not going to wait more than half a year after filming The Last Evaluation to make their decision. Hence in all likelihood the decision was made late in 2022 allowing them to introduce the girls in the beginning of 2023. The timeline is obvious, especially with the girls ages still showing them a year younger. You were wrong. All the filming including the girls’ reaction were all filmed in advance
