Marathon Show coach #1243 is exceptional, and not just because the initially tranquil exterior paint design, which possesses an interwoven depth highlighted by complex special effects. It’s also not because of its handcrafted, luxurious leather furniture or its five high definition television sets. Sure, its hardware and its software all leading edge, but what truly sets this H3 double slide apart is that it features the RV industry’s first air powered, pocket style, sliding glass shower door.
This motorcoach’s bathroom is more than a place to bathe - it’s an oasis. The spacious, full marble shower interior with custom framed feature wall houses an integrated, eight-inch square, rain shower head in addition to its hand-held shower wand. Plus, the large shower seat and integrated custom shower caddy shelf with accent retainer bar makes getting ready in the mornings a breeze.
Because this innovative shower door doesn’t swing open, but instead goes into a pocket, you can leave it open when not in use. This not only provides a roomier interior, but if you’re a pet owner, you can dry the shower floor after use to create a perfect space for your pet’s bed and food and water dishes for the day. Or, if you rather, use the extra space in your walk-in closet to create your dog or cat’s haven. Because this space for your wardrobe features telescoping, pocket style doors for maximum access, they can be left open without taking up any additional room. This large wardrobe area also houses a full-size ironing board, conveniently stored in a space saving wall recess, and a variable steam iron with a custom magnetic mounting, keeping everything close at hand, yet out of the way. With the integrated drawer bank and space saving hangers, you have an efficient, effective and aesthetically pleasing place to store your belongings. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that there’s dresser and an additional wardrobe with shoe rack across the way.
When guests come to visit, they just may ooh and ah about the marble path through your salon as well the other touches that make this coach a complete standout. And when they walk through the galley, the copper sink is bound to catch their attention with its stunning living finish that will continue to change and patina as it ages. This is true not only of the galley sink, but also those found in the mid-bath and rear half bath.
This coach is all about the details, from its adjustable, reclining bed perfect for movie watching or creating a pathway when the slides are in, to its powerful Crestron system that allows you to integrate all of your devices into one seamless command center and so much more. I just absolutely love this coach! This is by far is my favorite coach ( they all are my favorite) but this one stands out! Love the ocean feel! Teal accent lighting to the shower, wow, the shower took my breath away! As did the entire coach all around! Just when you think you have seen them all, BAM, you do it again! Congrats Marathon for another mind blowing coach! Love the videos and seeing the craftsmanship put into the best coach company in the world! (My thoughts anyway). wow! -daft question, but what's the benefits of having double wheels at the back? (which I prefer)-just most motorhomes don't...

How does the door lock work (is it a conventional vehicle door lock with keys or is there an option for alternate locking and unlocking mechanisms)?
That is a great question! The entry door has several ways to unlock and lock:
* Conventional door key.
* Manual lock/unlock latch located next to the inside entry door handle.
* Keyless entry pad located on the exterior entry door.
* Dash switch.
* iPhone app
* iPad app
