My first THANKS gift. Thank you so much.
This appears more protective than the standard cornbraiding which pulls and can still damage hair and scalp. We are some ingenious and innovative people!!! I love being black African!!
True. I love being black too.
Especially with hair, we killing it!
👎👎👎👎👎👎
The cornrows tangle and break my hair too, I’m definitely going to try this

This is probably the coolest discovery for me this year. I'm always trying to improve my biracial daughter's hair with designs and I don't like doing too tight of braids on her. This is a game changer lol. Plus I get to use yarn and my mom use to spin it for her job so it makes me feel like I'll be using that specific brand in loving memory of her. Thank you!!
It's always a pleasure. And that's so sweet.
This is sooo unique. Who knew u could stitch your hair in a cornrow style.
Indeed unique to some parts of Africa.
Orpheline
Serious it is I am amazed
This is so good - I was born and raised in Zimbabwe and this was one of the styles I had done on my hair going to school!
Yep. Learnt the technique in Zim as well
What is the name of that needle though?
It's a yarn sewing needle.
Kkkkk 😀
@Zee Bas It's not West African that's for sure, it's all new 2 me...
Man I been waiting for someone to come up with a way to do stich braided without actually braiding and here you are,I love it, you explain everything so detailed and I understand the assignment, thanks for sharing this for the people who want braids who don't know how, this is perfect.
I'm glad. Thanks for saying that as well. Encouraging

Beautiful. You are bringing back the style from way back - 1970s or ‘80s. Not so sure now. The natural hair movement will love this. Just wait until the style is discovered. I subscribed.
Yes! Thank you!
I remember this method, I use my hand to do it, I use this rubber that they normally used to plait hair to do it when I was still young, this is 1990s and 2000 hair styles and still looking very beautiful, you are so good ma

Great video! So creative. I would definitely soak the yarn in oil so it won’t dry or pull out the hair.
Great idea. thank you

Aww! I'm glad
This is a lovely technique! I enjoyed the basic tutorial (not a fan of a lot of words and little skill). I can't wait to add this in for my clients! You do very good work Queen!!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much.
This is a great protective style. I did it on my 3 year old niece but I was so slow and took me a while coz it was my first time. When I tried taking it out I really appreciated this style even more as it really weaves into the hair. However I’m scared to try this one again. Instead I want to do the flat twist needle and thread. Seems quicker coz 3 yr olds don’t like to sit for a long time. Thanks for showing us this hairstyle, thanks 🙏
Yes, the flat twist version is much easier and faster to do.
I would definitely do this.....very unique and creative 😍
Thank you! 😊
You're most welcome
This is my first time ever seeing anything like this. It is very interesting. But just wondering is this a simpler alternative to stich braids?
it can be if one does not know how to braid.
Wonderful job, good presentation, I love how detailed it is! 😃👍🏾✨
Thank you so much for saying that. Means a lot to me. 🤗
Wow gl black hair is amazing who knew i would be able to cornrow thank u sistaz these styles are really helping moms like me who didn't know how to do the hair. Now we can do it ourselves no hustle and we are saving that money
That's great. I'm glad I can help.
Eve, I must say you're so talented, I'm amazed how this is done..I've tried it several times to do this on one of my daughter's hair but with out any luck.. I've to keep on practicing as they say practice makes perfect. Very interesting, well done.
Thank you. 😘 Indeed, keep on practicing
Monin, tried on my daughter's hair. And it looks amazing
I'm so glad

It's a pleasure. Will keep on.
I like this demonstration 👍
So I can do my daughter hair when she wears her Mexican outfit for Cinco de mayo. She hasn't been able to wear it since we bought it because something alwayssssss happens.
Someday I'll be able to have a beautiful picture of my babygirl in her Mexican outfit.
😍
Awww
Beautiful 👏👏👏👏👏
Hi Eve I did the flat twist version of this on my daughter’s hair and it was very nice but the parts went that good her hair is high density and I didn’t want to pull the yarn too tight how can I get neat parts in her hair without pulling too tight thanks your doing a great job and no you don’t talk too much God bless you 😀
You can use a gel or edge tamer to section and make the parts neater
@@evemafupa thank you I’ll try that
This is absolutely AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!
It's always a pleasure
So Beautiful, I can’t wait to try this!

I thought I understood from your other videos, but the colored yarn breaks it down perfectly! Can you do a video showing this in yourself?
Sure. Soon enough, will do it for you.
Thanks for explaining so plainly and clearly
Glad it was helpful!
Wow!! First I see this technique. Its lovely. I have to try this 😊
Thank you so much
I get it but It’s way harder on my own hair. So am still just doing the twist. I love the pink. 💓
Great. Thank you 😘
How long can this last. I am loving it. And people when you have this on , stay away from water otherwise 🙄
It lasts for 3 to 4 weeks.
Mine lasted almost a month. Well the yarn part lasted for a month. The top lasted about 2 weeks before it started to itch and you know how that goes! Lol! The next time I get it done I'm gonna ask her to do regular twist instead of the faux locks on top.
Great demonstration!
Thank you.
Ah!!!!!! This is amazing!!! I am so shooketh!!! I hope my mom can learn how to do this 😭😭
I hope so too. You can share with her the video.
God 🙏 you too looks good but I have two left hand when it comes to corn rows
😀 Try this method.
I have been trying and I did okay but man I need my hands to do what yours do plz yall pray for me
In my prayers girl. 😘
With practice you will get better
I was not born with the gift of braiding or styling hair. I can't dance either!!! What the hell happened to me!!! I don't feel like a whole black African woman 😑 and that makes me sad.
