I will be using square bike cranks.
What to do when damaged bike crank arm threads.
This is the working method I use in the bike shop.

Te recomiendo que consigas un extractor de brazo pitman de camioneta, el extractor agarra la biela por detrás y por el frente vas apretando el tornillo igual que el extractor de bielas para bicicleta, con eso no dañas nada, ni andas haciendo malabares qué te pueden ocasionar un accidente

Miałem to samo, lewa strona poszła ściągaczem warsztatowym bo miałem obrobiony gwint, prawa strona kątówką, suport musiałem dać do mechanika rowerowego, wyciągnął ramieniem 1.5m, rower 30letni lub starszy, wszystko wygląda fajnie na filmach 😊

@@NiceBikeService na szczęście wyszło i mufa jest cała, rdzę potraktowałem neitralizatorem rdzy, założyłem suport Shimano un /300, piękne się wkręcił, czuć jakość, jednak warto czasami dołożyć do czegoś lepszego, korba już założona, teraz składam resztę do kupy. Pozdrawiam! Fajny kanał 👍

Si vas a destruir la biela con la rosca dañada entonces es mejor cortarlo con un disco de corte de metal por un lado del cuadradillo
J'ai eu le même problème sur mon vtt avec le même pédalier suntour.
Le filetage des manivelles en aluminium est assez fragile surtout que l'arrache est lui en acier.
Alors j' ai fabriqué un arrache 2 branches universel type arrache roulements ou moyeux avec du fer plat de 5mm et une tige filetée de 10 mm. J'ai pu démonter les deux manivelles sans problème et sans les abîmées. Si vous n'êtes pas bricoleur, il suffit d' acheter un arrache moyeux 2 branches (2 branches important pas 3). Un petit truc à savoir, mettez une visse btr de 6 dans le trou fileté du pédalier. Cela va permettre à la tige de l'extracteur de prendre appui sur la tête de cette visse btr.

Eu já removi várias vezes pé de vela com esse problema mas bem mas simples e ainda usei o pé de vela novamente peguei um metal e uma martelo e bati por trás dele e pronto
Já tirei com um saca polia de dois braços, muito mais fácil que dessa forma.
Pensei o mesmo.
Mano! Nessa aí eu vou te dar uma dica, usa um saca polia, vc vai retirar esse pé de vela Rapidão.👍👍👍

The pilot hole locations could have been more accurate . I would use a milling machine with a block to sit the bicycle on .
An angle grinder with a tungsten reinforced disc is easiest and very fast , 5 seconds .

Ben dis donc, moi, ça m'est arrivé mais j'ai trouvé un extracteur à vis et je mets une tige solide du diamètre dans le trou de la vis de l'axe de pédalier pour prendre appui et c'est parti mon quiqui sans aucun dommage et j'ai même remonté la pédale et je peux la démonter à nouveau avec le même outil. Il existe tous formats d'extracteurs de moyeux à vis et celui que j'ai s'adapte à une grande fourchette de diamètres et je peux aussi bien démonter la pédale du coté pédalier et l'autre CQFD pour infos.

Es gibt einen speziellen Satz Werkzeug zum ausreiben des gewindes, danach wird ein größeres gewinde geschnitten und mit einem größeren Abzieher abgezogen, somit bleibt die kurbel erhalten.
Dremel, Trennscheibe und 2 saubere Schnitte oben und unten in die Kurbel, die Kurbel ist sowieso Schrott.

@@NiceBikeService hello the idea is to extract the pedalboard so your several extractor that you can find on me either two eighth notes or three you have the choice a small one that will do it besides me it's been a week I had the same problem as you so I used a small one extractor on the other hand you put a small spacer between the screw of the extractor and the hollow of the pedal box so as not to damage the spinning here is good luck

I would have just used a Dremel Tool and attacked the crank arm from the outside of the arms making two cuts 180 degrees from each other. The arms would have fallen right off the spindle.

Болт попустив і мені вистачило покрутити педалями, аж раптом до сусідньої вулиці, відчув що шатун знявся ))) вернувся викрутив болт - шатун відпав )) і не потрібно стільки часу і сміття ))

Tu chauffés la manivelle avec un chalumeau ou autre chose qui chauffe pour dilater l'alu autour du carré de l'axe et ça sort tranquille ,c'est qu'on fait en atelier .vu le filetage se barre ta manivelle ne doit plus être top !
My god!!!!! All you had to do was hit the crank arm with a rubber mallet, it would of came off because the bolt was clearly already removed.

My bike mechanic used a “fork”. He inserted this thing between the crank and the frame. It has the trapeze shape, so after the hammer hit the broken crank removes easily

そうそう、実際コッタレスクランク抜きと理屈はおんなじですからね。
わたしも同じようにネジ山なめたクランクをプーラーで抜いたことあります。
爪をうまく引っ掛けるのが難しいんですけどね・・・

My threads are fine and even brute force, even STANDING on my spanner on my extraction tool. AND STILL… crank arm REFUSED to budge. My explanation? Mine must be welded in. You literally need three people to do it. One to hold the bike down. One to hold the crank arm. And one to operate the tool. I M P O S S I B L E. hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life. Id say these “how to” videos are fake
I always use 3 arm puller, without damaging anything very easy to remove the crankset. Your method is useless.

@@NiceBikeService una amoladora con un disco de corte, le hacías un corte a la biela y salía sin mucho sudor. Torcer la biela en mi opinión afecta un poco la caja de pedalier y bueno creo que es más sencillo cortar la biela.

Większej bzdury nie widziałem po co to wiercić jeszcze kolejność najpierw duże potem małe wiertło widać że nigdy tego nie robił bo robi się odwrotnie. A w tym przypadku korba i tak śmietnik więc wystarczyło ja fleksem naciąć i po krzyku.
