After riding Vsett 8 and Vsett 10+ I must say that there are one of most cuality scooters on the market for the price with 8 newer problem it is City beast. And with 10+ no one woble riding hige speads 60+ kmh and no stem moving its solid and good scooters. I love them.

I plan on upgrading to air springs on my Blade X and having pivot construction the same as all other scooters, using cheap metal bushings, I plan to use a very pricey grease used for my mtb. Finishline pure fleuro, basically teflon grease. By using it you essentially lube for life.

You say " that expensive " but overall its an A performing scooter at the B+ price range. There are scooters out there almost twice as expensive as the 10+. This guy has also had his for like 2 years now with near daily usage as a delivery driver. So his 10+ must have been one of their first ones so can't say for sure if the screws thing is still a thing in 2022 with the different variants available today.

Also im coming from a gotrax G4 thats 350w single motor..... but i also ride a cr250 that i cant even touch the ground on and i absolutely send on it hahaha. lookling for some excitement when i get a chance to open the scooter up you know??? if u can answer me any input would be cool. also hows your twist bolt on the nexk??? do u fold the scoot often? or leave it up? ive heard the bolt that holds the clamp in can strip over time.

yo yo :) I bought it 2021 august i think or maybe October something like that :D ... Yes I noticed that too and some even have different motors, they probably changed to Nutt brakes because those stock ones were getting issues like I have right now. Yeah I think for you 9+ should be a great buy just make sure to make your research on what the issues are as 9+ is slightly worse quality, but with that weight you have it should suite you. On the other hand think of it this way if you can buy the best you can and enjoy it to the max especially if you plan to keep it for a long time isn't it better to save up a bit more and go for the premium one like 10+ ? :) otherwise you might not like 9+ acceleration or something else and then you will feel regret that you should have saved up a bit more and gotten that other one :) well at least test both to see which one you like more. I can tell you once you try 10+ its not going to disappoint :D ... regarding the bolt I mainly have it fixed at all times...I folded my scoot only 3 times :D but 99% of the time it is on fixed position. I have to heard or seen any issues with folding mechanism, but even after 3600 km it is not moving at all it is as stirdy as it was from day one :)

@@Guitarnoob99 awesome response dude i appreciate it so much. and yeah i dont want buyers remorse after getting the 9+ and being like wow i wish i had some more power here and there- cause really in the end its only a few hundred more and as u said the quality is better- just the fact the 10+ has hydraulic brakes and 10" wheels is almost worth 200$ more, nevermind the power and such. my thing though is im either going to have to get the 10+ with the 20.8ah battery (smallest config at $1890) or the 9+ with the largest battery 21.6ah ($1625)
my question now for u to me i guess is, knowing that i only weigh like 130lbs or so haha do you think the 20.8ah battery on the 10+ (assuming im not ripping 30+ ALL the time, i will be around 18-25 though alot id say, and i plan to adjust P settings to make the scooter slightly less insane so i can be in dual motor on level 1-2-3 and not die or burn battery like hell)
do u think with teh basic 20.8ah config on the 10+ for $1890 that i would get a decent range out of it? i know its really hard to say with weather and all that but- all of the reveiws i see whether its with 20.8ah or the 28ah battery everyones so heavy and really doesnt drive it normaly for their "range tests" often.
idk if i can get over 30 miles range going between 15-30 most of the time, and occasionally MAYBE slighly faster, then i would be super happy with the 1890 price tag. i KNOW i can get that out of the v9+ but idk. i really wanna make the right choice here. also too the vsett9+ compared to the 10+ the hydraulic brakes are huge for me coming from fairly heavy mtb backround and such. i know at speeds you want those. 9+ has none :L

@@TheRealElectricOutdoors yeah deff go for 10+ if you can affor it :) ... the range well my guess is that the smalles battery could give you 40km of range easy, I can also say when I was testing my thing there was no difference in the range wether I used single or dual motors wich is weird, so just keep going on DDM and you should get 40 km :) maybe more... regarding hydraulic brakes you should be careful :D at higher speeds if you so much as touch the brakes that thing is gona grip like a cat on a carpet :D it might catch you offguard and you could fall

That's a great video thanks. I have the same scooter, with the new display. Something weird happened recently, maybe after a small hole on the road. I loose power...then, the scoot would not accelerate anymore. Display is on, but totally locked, could not do anything. No power, but display on. Buttons not responding. I disconnected the controler cable to restart everything, and it worked again. But I'm worried. Did the scooter feel a shock and go into alarm? I have no idea. On the other hand, I find the battery level indicator very inaccurate, I never know how much battery I have left. Within a few seconds of accelerating, it drops to almost zero and starts flashing, only to return to a normal gauge at cruising speed. This inaccuracy prevents me from being at ease with the battery. Should I trust the voltage indicator instead? What is the minimum level of that indicator? Remember that I'm talking about the new display. Apart from this, great scooter!

Im looking into a Vsett 10+, can you still recommend it? Its a early model with Nutt brakes (and the seller said they are not leaking) and was undergoing a lot of tuning, mainly stronger and better parts.
Is such a scooter a good deal? I would have to pay like 1500€ for a 25Ah LG battery version, including adjustable (oil) dampeners, steering dampener and a complete "redesign" to look like an IOHawk which is limited mostly to 25 km/h.

Hey :) hell yeah I would recomend it, but make sure you get the one with a new ass as mine was made out of 2 parts the black one and the yeallow one, the later models got those 2 parts made into one yellow part :) ... regarding the brakes I heard Nutt brakes ar better than the Zoom ones Im thinking of buying that for my scooter too, but make sure to use Magura oil (blue oil) it has better viscosity and will minimize the risk of leakage ... As to price a brand new one is like 2200-2600 euro so 1500 perhaps is a good price but it also depends how much he used it like I used mine for 12 500 km now ...thats a lot ... the what does it look like is it scrached a lot ? was it in some accidents ec. for 1500 euro that scooter should be in a very good condition if not then I would offer 1000-1200

I mean there is no such thing as problem free thing everything brakes down one or another day :) even apple, F-1 or Tesla or Ferrari :D although its expensive :) .... I actually spoke to my courier collegues about realibility of different scooters and the shop where i bought mine about what is the most reliable and the answer to my surprise was Ninebot max 30 :D its cheaper, simpler and suposedly has less issues, but even that thing brakes down, but the owner of the shop also said that Vsett comes at second after ninebot. Finaly I would like to stress that this was the first production model, so the one you would get is the one with fixed bugs that the scooter showed in time, so in theory the updated Vsett 10+ will be even more reliable than the one that I have.

Hello. I think I also have a problem with the controller, only that's how I bought it, it's 3 weeks old and has 60 km. When it is on only one motor, that is the rear one, the scooter is very lazy. If I accelerate it while keeping it blocked from moving forward, the front wheel spins very strongly and the back wheel has no power to spin, it stays put...but if I get on the scooter it works, only it's slow. In short, the rear wheel is at 20% of the power of the front engine. I don't know how your rear engine is. If you raise the front wheel and accelerate only the rear engine spins at idle making a burn, or yours doesn't have the power to spin at idle either. I don't know if the rear motor really needs to pull less even though both are 1400w or if it's just like that for me. If you could leave me an answer I would be happy. Thank you very much and good luck.

I bought a mantis pro se about 6 months ago. And I’m on controller #6 currently. I’ve been able to build 3 of them from the bad ones. And I have 2 new ones left. It’s been the same issue in all but one. The rear motors transistors. That power the yellow phase wire have shorted to power. One litterally blew up another got pretty close. I have replaced litterally everything. And can’t find anyone else with the same problem. Like they blow them once a month. For This current controller I’ve sanded down the scooter where it mounts and added thermal paste I am working on adding a heat sink under it as well on the underside of the scooters body. I have also lowered my settings and turned off regen braking for the first 10% of battery charge. Thinking it’s ether heat or an over powered surge from the regen. Causing “crowbarring”. Ironically the ones I’ve built seem to last longer. Luckily I purchased from an American company Voro that until now had provided me with the replacement parts. I do think they did all they could to help resolve my issue hopefully I’m close or possibly have resolved it I have been sent my final replacement controllers though (2 dual controllers) halfway through the warrantee and no more parts will be provided but I guess I can understand as I am sure they lost a lot of money on my issues. Idk how to feel really but it could have been worse. I do love to ride it when it works though. Hopefully I’ll have the problem figured out soon. I have at least 3 chances left possibly 4 with a successful rebuild lol. So hard to not run maxed out though..but the Benefit of the dual controllers are 2 bad ones can be rewired and paired to make 1 good one.

I plan too add a heatsink under the body also, or at least dremel in some lines right under the controller but on the outside of the chassis to act as a heatsink, you wouldnt see that part anyway. But so far its been working fine. Settings maxed and its been getting pretty warm here . I normally get about a month before it blows and thats of im careful. Also the dual drive when riding in snow was really a breaker or life saver I mean using single drive made the scooter going nowhere or the scooter sliding all over the place no grip at all but with dual drive it was like having 4x4 on a car great stability and grip.
Anyway I haven't had any issues whatsoever thinking either mechanical or electrical despite riding in rain and snow many times.
Only done the usual tweaks like silicone different places where water might creep in. So for me the scioter is pretty waterproof even if some might argue the opposite.
The only issue have had is punctures but I guess that is somewhat expected with these scooters so I call it a non-issue it's just boring and annoying to change the tubes. But at least it's easy and it's done in an hour or so.
So I am really happy with it and it has far surpassed my expectations.
Hope this answers you question but if you wonder anything more it's just to ask. 😉😀

@@WorivpuqloDMoghThe stock tyres are really bad in every aspect. Even the grip on smooth asphalt us horrible even compared to offroad tyres. If I knew better I would have changed earlier. Not too expensive mod but can save you a lot of hassle in punctures.
From everything I read do not use regen if you want your controller to function for longer time. The regen the higher setting it will overheat the controller.
I haven't had any brake issues beside a small leak of brake fluid around the caliper which isn't really an issue. Just that I have to refill the brake fluid every other month. And no warping if the discs but that can happen with any disc if abused anyway. Also that is a relative inexpensive mod too if you want a step up from stock.
Anymore questions just ask. I have soon around 5000km on mine so I guess I have somewhat longterm experience. 🙂

I bought four tyres: 2 wider street and 2 offroad tyres(not good tyres in my oppinion) but now i ordered 255/80 like you have them... hope that will be better...

No issues after 6500km on my brothers scooter and from what I see in my day job (scooter repair shop) - these brakes has no complain issues with other scooters where these brakes are on. You dont need shimano or Nutts. (Also Hiley Tiger 10 is better as vsett 10 vesions. I have driven both and lots of 60v scoots. Tiger 10 is unbeatable in parameter/quality/price).

well we can not be sure about the quality of this thing as it is fairly new, so I would not say great quality about something that has not been tested properly for at least 5000km ... As for the thing it self iv seen it when it was advertised some time ago and I think it is one of the best looking scooters out there at least for my taste of design, BUT thats about the only thing I like about it. I think its way overpriced for what it delivers...it does not have the range or the power even as Vsett 10+ does. I am waiting for TEVERUN BLADE MINI PRO now this is a promissing product and from what I have heard it fairly priced and you get a lot for your money.

Anticipate your stop, give a lot of room and go slower in a busy environment such as city streets or ubran areas with people.

Even if you don't strip the screws, you can see that they get bent and mangled a little bit every time you loose or tighten them. I've also head screw heads break off. Also there are tons of other people who have the same problem with stripped and jacked up screws. The included tool is a piece of gourmet garbage as well. Those stoopid controllers. It should be made to be capable of working at least 20,000+ km without problems, these scooters are as expensive as some 15 years old cars which are driven 500,000km and can hold on still driving them for tens of thousands of kilometers, and those scooters are brand new having problems before 5k kms is just disgusting. Is it that hard to put some good capable of high voltage controller + 2 high quality motors, solid construction, suspension and wheel construction... Always will be the chinese trash builds. If germans or japans start doing electric scooters they will be much more solid.

Yeah I was thinking the same. I soke to the shop owner about this and he said that chinese do not like critisism lol :D ... another thing worth mentioning that in China these things are very cheap, and the manufacturer is saving money everywhere where they can. So getting back about the price and the reason it is so expencive is because all the import and tax implemented by EU and local countries so VAT for my country is 21% + fuck knows how much it is for import + shipping so yes as it is, its very expencive and even if they did spend more money on making these better I wonder if people would pay more to get better :) ... I payed 2300 euro for mine, but I doubt I would pay more as I could buy a car or a premium 125cc scooter for 3000-4000 euro ....another question is why would you buy a beast like this in the first place ? I bought it just because I do food deliveries and I need big battery + strong enough motors to pull my ass...if it wasnt for the job I think I woud be riding something like Ninebot g30 MAX ... cheap and more reliable.

It's now on 4000 km without changing anything but the rear tire once. What I want is to be able to go up to 45-50 km/h while going up of 5%-10% hills but with vsett 8 im going with up to 35-38 km/h which is not enough i need a lil bit more. I hate cars that need to overtake me I feel better while they just decide that I am fast enough and they stay behind me instead of overtaking me and driving close to me while doing that. In terms of this I think for my needs I need something 2x1000w with 23 A but what I really want if I pay 1500-2000 euro is to be perfect solid electric scooter not a shitt that will make problems on first 3-4k kms. @@Guitarnoob99 I bought a 160€ 2021 Scooter in 2023. Just an average low budget offroad scooter, 1000W single motor (45 km/h) and super small battery (48V 10Ah, very much abused)
It had in beginning 2023 around 2800 km on it, i was driving since then nearly 7000 km on it WITHOUT ANY FAILURE.
Sure enough small things... the front suspensions nut on the top got loose a bit.... tightened it. Also, the folding mechanism (one of the worst you can imagine...) needed often a readjustment after much offroading or heavy bumps i did not see. But nothing extraordinary!
Now, after about 7000 km the first real issue i encountered... the already damaged/bent front suspension goes crazy and the front tire sheers sometimes on the suspension forks top, might too much weight and stress on the spring, might the bent parts bended even more and so its rubbing against it sometimes. Nevermind, i bought this scooter to "break" it, before i look into a proper, much better scooter
All i know, for me it took about 7000 km, much offroad, fast charging a lot etc and it still runs! Yes, the battery is on its last leg (8-15 km range), the motor got that often hot/overheated it lost reasonable amount of torque and a bit top speed, most moving parts make bad sounds already despite lubing them, since some days also the wheel bearings make squeaky noises, but thats expected after the tortoure this scooter had with me!
