Our true identity outside of Christ is condemned. Our true identity after becoming a Christian is born again, child of God, secure and sealed. We need to be born again by the Holy Spirit to even see the kingdom of God! Don't let the "image of God thing" be misconstrued to endorse a "born in sin" lie. I am just saying. . . you need to know the difference. Because churchianity will teach and treat everyone as if they assume they are believers and "good to go." Don't depend on churchianity or "in the image of God" fleshly ideas.

Oh my, I hear you loud and clear honey! I had the exact thing happen to me but I was a nurse. I lost my RN license 🪪 due to being arrested and drinking. I’m still mad at myself, I miss nursing so much it hurts my heart. I am living for Jesus now. Life lessons learned ❤ Big hug 🤗

I can relate to her, I go to church and taking Bible classes yet I still listen to worldly music and go to clubs just to fill in what's missing in my life because I don't feel happy or satisfied. I feel like I a missing something or should I say many things in my life. I go out and drink beer not because I want to but because I feel hopeless and have nothing to live for except my daughter. I feel like giving up sometimes and stop going to church but part of me tells me not to. I haven't drank in about 3 weeks and recently started drinking today because I feel like I am never going to get what I desire in this life. Being a single father sucks, I hope God sends me a woman of God to marry one day and leave all this sinning behind.

Praying for you. God will not reject a sincere call for help. In the meantime, prepare yourself for the blessings you are praying for. God will give you a godly woman if you are a godly man.
I want anyone struggling right now not seeing a way out of their struggles, addictions. Dont give up! I had a rough couple years it was really dark and wanted to give up but God delivered me when I surrendered to him. I feel like people are going through what looks like hopeless situations. Dont believe that lie. God will make it for his good. Surrender is the answer! Submit to God Resist the devil and he will flee.

Love this. We truly are not identified by our accomplishments and titles. Those are just vehicles that God uses. Knowing our identity in Christ is vital and God has been re-emphasizing this to me this year. It's not easy when the world views what you drive, what org you are apart of, how much money you make, what you do for a living, how big your house is, what kind of clothes you wear, marriage, etc. as success. However, Christ has shown me that my success & identity is found in Him alone. 🙌🏽

Friend, a person is made righteous by faith in Jesus. The only 1st steps you need is to believe in Jesus and to call out to him for help. Make steps torwards Him, however small, and keep going. Read your Bible. Pray to Him daily. Put away the things you know He doesn't like, and seek to know more of what He does, and put that into practice. Its not by your strength, but by His. He will help you. He will meet you where you are at. Be encouraged that Jesus is in the business of redemption. And you are the very person He has died on the cross for!

I remember seeing the spiritual wickedness when I went back to the club and I remember thinking “why am I even here?!?” Jesus is so good! He has redeemed us if we just believe in our heart and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord we will be saved!
This isn't all the way on topic, but this is why I fight for criminal justice reform and prison reform, because it is so easy for any of us to find ourselves behind bars...

Amen sister! I used to listen to gospel in the morning and then secular music in the afternoon too. It's crazy because I did it on purpose so I could get hyped up for my former sneak a link. I also used to watch 16&pregnant, Bad Girls Club, RHOA, BBW, etc. I had to find the true Christian films, bible stories series, and Christian content on CZcams. So many reality shows had to be cut off too. Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy! All Glory to King Jesus for this powerful testimony! May God continue to use you sister and Delafe Testimonies. Thank you for sharing your testimony. Your words about sharing our own testimony hit me. I do sometimes, but most times I am scared. What if it ruins my career? Even writing that out I know how wrong that sounds. May God help me to share my testimony to help others.

I grew up in the same area. Had similar experiences with church and my baptism.
Part of your testimony really resonated with me; turning towards the Lord feeling overwhelmed and hurt in a similar experience by another believer in ministry; then having the comfort of experiencing the Lord speak into my heart and life how "Even though people will let you down and hurt you, I will never leave or forsake you." I can relate too how it can be a crucial importance how bringing that to the Lord, changes what the enemy meant for evil, God turns out for good.
You're inspiring me though to dig deeper in studying the bible.

How is it that everyone who gives their testimony on this channel actually knows how to narrate stories?
I’ve always wondered the same thing.
I assumed they(delafe) gave them outline/timeline to go by.
So then guest can the share a brief background leading up to their struggles, what broke them and eventually lead them to Christ then present day & how their walk is going.
Some people are naturally storytellers. It's not anything that needs a script, some people just can't relay a event. It's how the brain works. It sometimes sieves out of a person's brain so it doesn't retain it. They won't be able to tell a testimony on their salvation story unless they able to ponder on their life. Tell it and still feel what the experience was.
A great production team makes this possible! It starts with the selection and ends at editing at post. And, of course, God is all over this project!
@@mrs.camilliajones3560 We don’t give them an outline, but we do encourage them to make one for themselves so they can process in prayer with the Holy Spirit anything He may want them to share :)

Just trust yourself in God's hand ,and do not look on your weaknesses. Tell God that you are giving your whole heart to Him,and He needs to clean it and make it new. You can't change yourself. Be real with God and tell Him the things you love and find hard to give up,but you are surrendering them to Him and trusting Him to deliver you from them daily. When doubt comes just ask: "Is there anything foo hard for God?"

There is a Christian song called "Testimony" by Monica Trejo (Kingdom Muzik) with a similar message. It's the story of a young woman struggling with self worth who gets caught up in the clubbing lifestyle and taken advantage of by men. She was in a really dark place when Jesus heals her hurt/trauma and restores her life.

i understand that her church may have been strict but Christmass is truly a pagan holiday and its not of God im Christian and i have come to know of this.
It's interesting to me, people think being without a father contributed to their disfunction and those of us who had a non involved dad in the home believe that contributed to our dysfunction, or having an abusive dad in the contributed, why is it always the dad? The future is going to be pretty bad because today women are marrying women and having children or choose to be single moms.
A husband is supposed to lead the wife and together children while following Jesus. There are issues when the order that God established isn't in place. But of course Jesus can help you overcome anything.
God created man to lead. It's his natural order. When the head is sick the whole body is sick.

The Jesus Only church misuses the term Apostolic Church in the same way JW misuse the Word Jehovah. Im sorry. The Jesus Only church has ruined my marriage. Broken up my family. It's so sad. But I trust the true and living God.
The KJV bible is the true word of God.
Other versions speak "English." I have to study another version when I read the KJV version. Other versions speak more plainly.
