Lasik was the best out of pocket expense I've ever paid for. It took maybe a max of 10 mins for the procedure. I had Valium about a hour prior. The doctor made light conversation with me the whole time to distract me. I went home, slept off the medication and was good to go. Hands down would do it all over again if needed.

Keegan, I love to use Certain Dri at night and that really helps with my perspiration. I use regular deodorant during the daytime, and Certain Dri at night.

I was interested in lasik but I'm afraid it'll be worse than it is now (anxiety 😭) so I haven't talked to my doctor about it. I love you & all your videos. Thank you for making me smile ❤

Had lasik many years ago. Works great for a while but then you need to do it again or get glasses. They make you sign a waiver that you understand it’s not permanent. I now wear glasses.
how long did it last before you needed to wear glasses again?
@@KeeganActon about 6 years or so but my eyes weren’t that bad to begin with. I have a very low prescription now so it varies for everyone .

Glasses from Zenni are super cheap and the only place I ever buy from now! As far as LASIK- I had a similar surgery in 2019 (prk because my eyes were BAD). But I recommend going with a place that has a lifetime warranty so you can get the surgery done again a second time in your life if your vision gets bad again!

I know you’re thinking of putting a washer and dryer in the kitchen, I’m wondering if your circuit breaker will be able to handle the load of that plus your refrigerator and other appliances all on one circuit potentially.
My thought would be what if you took half the closet in your office space, and made that into a stackable washer dryer?, My guesstimate is that your office closet backs up to your bathroom, thus plumbing access would be easy for a contractor. Just my two cents worth.
that was my plan b for the washer and dryer!! my fear is that one day I hope to use this condo as a rental property and im not sure if it'll be weird having the laundry in one of the bedrooms. but if it's my best option, ill do it
I got Lasik last summer, and it was the best decision I have ever made about my health. It really changed my life.

@@KeeganActon During the procedure I only felt a lot of pressure and got a nice 0.5mg of Xanax before and took a dose after. After I went home and slept a few hours. Woke up with my eyes burning and watering, but it is only temporary. I basically slept the rest of the day. By 6 or so hours later I was doing my normal routine in the house, with my sunglasses they gave me. They gave me eye drops and the following morning I had an exam to see how they healed up.
You do run the risk of halos at night, but it does not bother me. Honestly, the results are 100% worth the entire experience. I wore glasses from 5th grade until last year (Age 33). I used my PTO/Vacation time for 2 weeks after the procedure to enjoy my new eyes.

Lasik can cause serious damage to your eyes and even cause blindness. You'll also most likely need to use eye drops so if it's hard for you to use drops, keep that in mind. It can also make it difficult to see in the dark to the point it isn't safe drive after dark. I have a pretty bad phobia of my eyes being touched, too lol
I definitely need to do a lot of research on lasik. ive read that and it does scare me a lot

Sorry, this is long-I tried wearing contacts in 8th or 9th grade because of my ballet training. It didn't work. Then, I tried again as a sophomore in high school. Again, I had issues. Part of these issues was the time period. We are talking early 80s. I finally got my act together and wore them from my junior year on. However, I had 24-hour contacts, and my eyes developed suction-like cups inside my eyelids. I had to stop wearing them for about six months when I was 20. I started wearing contacts again. In my early 50s, I started having issues with needing reading glasses on top of my contacts. On March 17, 2020 (I have a weird thing about dates), I took out my left contact in my classroom, and when I got home, I took out the right one. That was the last time I wore contacts. When school started in August, we had to wear masks, and I knew they would fog my glasses, but I still needed reading glasses on top of the contacts, which would also fog up. I decided to stay with my glasses, which are now trifocals.
I got over my phobia of inserting contacts; however, I am worried that I will need surgery for cataracts (both my father and grandmother did), and there is no way they can come at my eyes with surgery equipment. I will worry in about 30 years.

Do you always wash your dishes in the dishwasher? I only do this if I have a lot of pots, pans, bowls, and dishes? Are you using the heat dry feature? I think every dishwasher isn't perfect and there's still some water spots after you finish. I leave the door open and let the dishwasher air dry because there are water spots inside the machine.
ive been doing the same thing with living the door open for a little after a cycle. I pretty much use my dishwasher for everything that is dishwasher safe because im lazy lol

most of the places in my budget were older and I was shocked that most older homes don't have in unit washer and dryer. I thought it was standard. guess not lol

I wear contact lenses. I didn't like the idea of poking my eye but I got over it. I have hesitated of Lasik because a surgery can go wrong. I've had two near death experiences because of two bad surgery going wrong. I've had a total of four near death experiences. This means I still have five lives left. LOL!!!
