In the Novel (the sequel of the arc, "Naruto Retsuden") and in the manga (the last page), they shared a kiss. _ Even though in the manga we can't actually "see" it, since it showed just their shadow._ But the anime was a complete disappointment about this arc.
In the manga they have more sweet moments that didn’t get animated 🥺
Just animate the whole retsuden or at least the SasuSaku moments they INTENTIONALLY didn’t animate. Is there a way that hopefully one day you could animate one of Sakura’s big fights in Sakura’s Gaiden where she fights Nine Tailed Fox Kido I think it’s the same fight where she had her arm blown off and 100% regenerated it right back
