the problem i have with renting servers is that its too expensive compared to what you get and with todays economy and how cheap it is to run a server farm, its just not feasible.
also it might be they gave you good customer service, but they also have to, you got influence that could affect them negatively more so than us mere mortals.
i have had multiple servers and multiple problems with gportal servers in the past and 9/10 times i have either waited two or more business days for an answer or when i have gotten an answer, they have told me they cant and or won't help because the problem is on my end, even though the problem wasn't on my end.
so they aren't perfect, far far from it, but with you, they kinda have to be.

Why is it pc muliplayer only have text chat - why no in game live chat ? ( on PS5 so forgive my ignorance) 😊
