RULES:
The rules are the same as regular uno except for these changes. Before playing, separate the 8 power cards from the deck and give 1 to each player, who places theirs green check-side faceup. Flex cards have 2 colors. Their primary color and their flex color. You are allowed to play a flex card as either color. After a flex card has been played, the primary color, as indicated by the color inside the center circle, is the color that continues play, not the flex color.
Your power card determines whether you are allowed to use the flex side of a card. If your power card is the green check face up, then you can use flex cards; if not, then you may not use flex cards. After you play the flex side of a card, you must flip your power card. If all players have red x’s on their power cards, then all players flip their power cards to the green checks. If you play a number card with a flip symbol, then you must flip your power card to its opposite side, no matter if you want to or not.
A wild all flip card, in addition to being a wild, makes it so all players must flip their power cards. Flex action cards have unique actions that are followed when the flex side of the card is used instead of using the normal action. The flex side of a reverse acts as a reverse then it acts as a skip. The flex side of a draw 2 card forces every other player to draw 1 card. The flex side of a skip acts as a skip all, allowing you to play again. The flex side of a wild acts as a targeted draw 2, meaning you get to pick any player to draw 2 cards, then you pick the color that resumes play. The other flex type of a wild forces all other players to draw 2 cards. The flex side of a wild draw four is a targeted draw 4, where you pick any player to draw 4 cards, then you pick the color that resumes play.
At the end of the game flex cards are worth their normal non-flex point value. Each Wild all flip is worth 50 points. For colorblind players, there are little triangles on each card to indicate the card’s color. 1 is yellow, 2 is green, 3 is blue, and 4 is red. - Jak na to + styl
The targeted player does not skip their next turn.
Ok
ok
Like in all-Wild?
aight
Triple S Games always skips their turn
i really like the colour blind notches, that should honestly be in the base game.
agreed
I think there is a colorblind friendly normal UNO Somewhere…
@@emmettbarley5721 it's called "UNO coloradd" and i think it has been discontinued
True. They should update the base game to add that
A lot of board game now has symbol to do it.
@@emmettbarley5721 The online version (with all it's faults) has little symbols for that purpose
I wish more people can understand these rules. Flip and Flex looks like so much fun, but it’s very complicated to teach the rules cause of how everyone’s so used to regular Uno. T-T
Dos:
Flip is much much simpler than flex
@@sapphireoasisxxx7729 true but as much as i adore both i think Flex has more possibilities
Flip is really easy
the flip is a little more complicated than normal uno but it’s still easy.
Two things:
The term "Power Cards" immediately reminded me of the many times I played the videogame for the first Madagascar movie.
And when I heard that they added a feature for colorblind players, my jaw dropped!
For me "power cards" reminds me of card jitsu in club penguin.
@@notdog6642 thats nostalgic
I remember all the minigames as u scrolled through the level select screen shuffle board was me and my sisters personal favorite
Must collect the power cards so Melman can become a helicopter
I have Uno, Dos and Uno flip just on my drawer. I remember back then I wanted to get them all. I've been waiting for a new Uno card game that was like Dos or Uno flip since 2020. This is perfect
Have you seen the Uno All Wilds deck?
Theres also party which has link cards
@@temi19 I have not, lemme ckeck that out
I have 3 versions of uno and i have dos
Al that i want now is uno flip and wild
I'm in the same boat. I've amassed a small collection of uno variants that change the rules rather than just having pop culture integration/gimmicks. I've got Uno, Dos, Attack, Stacko, Giant Uno (which I debated not getting until I saw just how absurdly huge the cards were), Flip, Flex, All-Wild, and Party. Still on the lookout for more. I've debated getting the Uno Dice Game but it didn't seem very interesting to me, and I may get the World's Smallest Uno to offset the Giant Uno. XD I also have the Wild Twists Card Deck, which is a 52 standard card deck but with the addition of Uno style wild cards. The cards themselves also look like Uno Cards.
anything that makes uno more skill-based is a welcome addition
This new version of Uno looks like better than normal Uno
Mire complicated too
And Uno flip which had some of these features of flex cards
@@mbdg6810 Uno flip n' flex
@@ahroncalano7486 i would buy it
I dont know why, but I think this is my favorite version of Uno. The idea of having a super move of sorts that recharges after everyone's used it, combined with the cards that flip you or everyone's power cards seems really engaging. I never really liked Uno, but this actually seems like a lot of fun!
This version is complicated, but it looks so cool
Wow I gotta hand it to Mattel this along with Uno Flip are ingenious and great spins on the classic who would've thought you could still innovate playing cards in this modern era
The fact that this is easier to understand than Uno themselves
whoever made this a GENIUS !!
we love playing uno flexxx
If they can combine it with Uno Flip they should call it "Ultimate Uno"
Uno Flip n Flex
sadly, there's already an UNO Ultimate
I want someone to buy, then combine every version of uno, to create the best Worst version. Uno CHAOS!
Maybe not every version but every version that only requires the cards and no extra pieces or machines.
Since this game only has cards, it's compatible with uno chaos
your wish has (sorta) been granted. uno amalgam
Along with the triangles for the colorblind, there should be braille for the blind. That would be really cool.
a Braille version exists
Looks like UNO took cues from how successful modern games with multiuse cards are
2:20 why don’t they have it in the base game?
I had to check your video because I was pretty sure that in Polish how-to-play manual, normal and flex card description was reversed and I was right!
Great video, clean and descriptive.
I was cool with UNO Flip but this looks pretty fun
So you're saying we could combine flip and flex by having the flip cards act like uno flip flips and uno flex flips, having the flex side be like the flip side in uno flip?
The rules are the same as regular uno, but you flex on your friends
Uno never gets old
It's really cool that Mattel think about interesting variations of their Uno 😊
I finally tried this game out with my parents.
Had to explain a few times how playing after a flex card worked.
Always follow the primary color.
the targeted draw 2 and 4 would cause so much salt
Never heard of Uno Flex before, might try it some day.
best and easiest explanation ive heard
Thanks for the suggestion! But you can also make rules for monopoly secret vault/travel world tour.
the colorblind xtra is so sweet bro
Man this uno variant be destroying friendships faster than flash going around the world
This game is so fun I love it
This looks interesting like all the other Uno games. does the flex side on the draw or wild cards mean that after all other players draw cards and the next player doesn't lose its next turn?
Looks like it
You posted on my birthday
I think you forgot to add the original Uno Rules as a card link. But besides that, this is a really well made rules video that lays out everything clearly!
HA! Imagine using point system in Uno
Ha! Imagine just playing one hand.
@@deadersurvival4716That’s an insult from a year ago. Finishing all your cards is better, but ok
@@deadersurvival4716Either that or you’re being sarcastic.
@@ThatIsALakeSir No, finishing all your cards is not better. Nor am I being sarcastic.
Don't get me wrong, the phrasing was meant to be humorous, nor is playing for points objectively better.
Both have their place.
That being said, I'd much rather get together once a week and play a single hand (due to time constraints) that add up over time than just playing a singular hand for nothing more. Especially if teams are involved. And ESPECIALLY in the case of the 7-0 or draw to match house rules.
@@deadersurvival4716 Oh, ok. Guess I’m dumb
I like how those cards have 2 colors

Own this version this will start my uno collection. so far uno, uno flex, dos secon edition, skip bo and phase 10. next up i want uno show em no mercy and ONO 99
I really want to buy Uno Flex but there’s none in Malaysia and if I want to buy from other place it cost over RM50
I would like to see a "How to Play Poker Dice" in your future uploads.
Do you still pick the color when using the flex of wild cards? or is it the last color? i was not sure abt this when playing with friends
I do have a question that isn't exactly clear in this video: How do you determine if you played the flex side of some of the special cards? the ones that appear at 1:18 are the same colour on the main and flex side; so how do you determine which side was played there?
Finally i saw this haha new uno
I'm praying someone makes this in VRChat, cause this seems like so much fun, but I have no one to play it with
VR Chat?
I just want this in the Ubisoft game!
Though that would also be cool...
what a flex
This will be a fun one to add the the amalgam

Can you play a normal reverse card on a flex reverse card and a normal draw 2 card on a flex draw 2 card regardless of color?
Wait but if you used the flip side would the person next to you who's power card is also flipped have to play the flipped color or the base color
Is this a sequel or a spinoff?
There might be some strategy involved with the Flex Cards...
I know it's a long shot to getting an answer because I haven't seen it anywhere... but when playing a wild draw 4 card... if your power card is green and you have a flex card with the secondary colour playable, does that count as having a playable card? Would you lose the challenge?
Like how it's uno but with a mana system
How to actually play Uno Flex
You: HEY GUYS I HAVE 20 +4 TAKE THAT
Your friends: gg you win
You cannot stack in UNO
@@franciscocaiomartins3798 sir do you really think everyone follows the same basic rules? no and we stack cuz its fun even the game version of uno allows stack
@Foxy_5702 sure do what you will
ok that sounds cool
Does this uno has the num 9 ?
The spikes on the side is good for who have colorblind
Idk why this got recommended to me, I watch video game and tech videos, but I'm not complaining.
How many type of uno cards are there
I need Uno flip-flex.
After a targeted +2, where to play restart? At the one after the one who had played or at the one who had to draw?
After player 1 plays the targeted +2 card, player 2 goes next, regardless.
@@joserollins5853 thanks
When the power card is red can they not play Flex cards AT ALL or just notnuse the flex side?
Just not the flex side.
I really want this game now ☠
i have 1 question.
1. if you had uno and your last card was a flex card but your power card is an X, then would you skip your turn or do something else?
You’re allowed to play cards like normal if your card is flipped to X. You just can’t flex them
@@jaythepizza7600 alright thanks for the info
@@jaythepizza7600 I have another question i need help with: If a Power Card is green and a player plays a flex action card, can that player choose whether it's the flex side or not or must it be the flex side?
@Tiger-me3tv they can choose
are you allowed to choose if you want a flex side when played a flex card?
This is uno flip’s younger brother
How do other player know that your using the flex side or regular side?
If you turn over your power card after you play, it means your using the flex side
the color blind cards spikes should be on the regular cards
Ah yes, Uno flip, the origins: Uno flex
Is the target draws stackable?
No card i any uno game is stockable.

🎉
Now I wonder how can I flex with my uno flex
Didn't talk about the fact that the flex cards that make everyone draw doesn't skip the turn of the next player.
1:00 UNO Flip without the double sided playable cards.
They should make more color blind friendly games
Get ready for a new version of Uno! It's most likely gonna be Tres!
My Variation:
You can flip your Power Card back to green after you played three turns without everyone flipping their power Cards to Red. 1:05 If this happens on your third turn without everyone flipping their power cards to red, you can still flip it back to green. 1:13 Similar rules apply.
To make it simple, there's a 3-turn cooldown after using a flex card or it gets flipped by an action card.
As long as the targeted player who drew cards isn't the player going next, they won't skip their turn.
My 7 year old could follow and remember ever rule, but I just can't 😂😂😂😂. I prefer the spin, flip, uno character, but flex this one is complicated!😂😂 😂😂.
Why was this in my recommended 😂
Oh my god he speedran his intro
I'm assuming the challenge rule if you think somebody played a wils draw 4 illegally is still there.
Yeah it is, where are you from? :)

Confusing
uno flex + uno + flip + uno all wild + uno no mercy = uno penalty No one can leave and they must do their deals

Flex cards honestly look like they are glitching (in my opinion).
