A couple of hysterical losers talking nonsense is not “everybody”. I didn’t even know about the Junior Eurovision. When months later I accidentally came across the videos posted on the internet, it became immediately clear that the Polish song was bound to be one of the main contenders. The manager of the Russian team said the after the JESC, that early in the morning, before the final show, he once again went through all the contesting songs, and it was clear to him that the Polish song stood up from the rest, thus he wasn’t surprised in the slightest when the winner was announced. Of all the music videos, France and Poland were well above the rest. France, unfortunately, disappointed with their live staging. Much of the sharpness and charm of their musical video was lost. A pity, because I would have voted for France and Poland for certain. I am not sure about the others. The Polish song had a great staging. And their girl was already like a star.

Deserved winner (super song + super music video + mediocre staging) - but overall deserved win. I am so happy for Kazakhstan (best voice in the show + super staging + super video) - now EBU should invite them to the adult contest too. The Netherland, Russia and Italy were a big and good surprise for me. Wales didn't come last (super) - France on 5 is okay. Spain on #3 is okay. Malta is shocked. That was a really stunning show from Poland - so well done and next year I fly to Poland !

Mediocre staging and second by the "profesional" jury, something so strange. I think that Spain, Ireland and North Macedonia (at least) were so much better than Poland in the live events, that it's what the jury vote.

Last year Croatia's contestant Roko was also amazing vocalist but he didn't even make it through semi-final mostly because of song lyrics. You just have to forget and move on. And approx. 20 million people living outside Poland with Polish ancestry. With Poland hosting, I imagine a lot more Poles paid attention to JESC than normal. In theory, this could have an effect on the online vote in their favor. In practise, of course only a certain segment of each countries' population vote, otherwise Russia would win the online vote every time. Without a demographic breakdown of the online votes, we will never know how votes were distributed. But let's not forget Poland came 2nd in the jury vote where they can't vote for themselves, so I don't want to take anything away from Viki's victory. I do think the EBU should do some changes with the online voting system (like blocking people from voting for their own countries) so people don't have a reason to complain about it in the future.

Each country claims that their singer was the best. This is not surprising. The reaction of the Spaniards was the worst for Viki Gabior's win. The Spaniards behaved like a bull irritated by a red cloth. Many Spaniards wrote offensive texts to Viki Gabor (for example, they wished her death or called her a prostitute). They also insulted Poland in the worst possible way. They proved that they do not have a civilized culture. Shame, Spain! Poles will remember that.
