Agatha is a detective in the beginning because she's playing a TV role from the 2020's like Mare of Easttown. Similar to how she's played roles from the other decades in WandaVision.

@@randomgeekcrap Evan peters was from the X-men universe. They brought him in to make the audience think he was from that universe, but he wasn’t. That’s why I’m mad 💀
