- Just a neat place to run to land in his back yard and head back. Needed to pick up some paperwork from him for a project, and could drive an hour each way, or maybe spend 25 minutes each direction and GET TO FLY!!!!! Hmmmmmm yep. flew

Low over water beyond auto distance...😮
Great video. It shows the pedal/cyclic coordination for a smooth ride
Come on over anytime my friend!
After owning an experimental BD 4, sold it and building a new BD 4C. I am getting the helicopter bug right now after watching most of your videos and seeing that you don’t really need a runway. Fly Safe , Fly Often and Post more Videos
Thank you Frank! It can be an expensive addiction but it is such a quantum different than anything I'd done before in fixed wing, I'm still loving it!
Talk about a nice day to fly!!!
166 hours on the airframe, and I'm approaching 200 hours total time, about 161 PIC!
thankyou so much . where are you ?
thinking of buying 1 please advise
Factory is currently shut down. If you can find a good one, and are good at turning wrenches, they're a good ship. I've flown some 450 hours on mine and don't plan to slow down!
Klass! how much is one flight hour...
I've heard estimates of anywhere from 60 to 160 USD per hour. I consider 150 just to assure I have surplus to do major rebuilds. 280+ hours now and going strong!
@@captianhardy thanks. It seems to me that this is too small a sum.
Hi Jim:
I'm interested in knowing more about the Rotorway Helicopter.
I live in Houston but need to be in Dallas on business next week.
Could I buy you lunch? Would like to do some hanger talk with you.
thanks,
Joe
Sounds fun to me! Send me a note on jehardy@ntin.net
Ah, living dangerously. (not the aircraft)
Is it that delicate. Don't see you going any direction lol.
I guess you're talking about how little I move the cyclic? (stick) You just need enough to control the trends any more you're just over controlling!
@@captianhardy nice. Been watching videos for the past 6 months. I really want to learn and have one. You make it look to easy lol. Thank you.
@@tex_mex-car-tel thank you! it was a tough learn. once it clicks and becomes second nature, your brain has to still stay alert to the safety and environment that try's to bite you at every turn!!!
@@captianhardy thank you very much. I'll make sure to never forget your advice
Yup It's that delicate, everything you're doing are just tiny corrections.
Why don't you show what you're flying film it before getting in
Mainly because the camera is mounted internally and it takes more production value than I have in my stores of talent? I did get a picture of the ship tagged onto this video! czcams.com/video/GpD2SjJKgpA/video.html
