Who will inspect roads? Inspection of cars while not inspecting roads makes no sense, as many roads are not roadworthy, and people pay for roads. What actions can br taken by citizens to take action against, not just roads that are not roadworthy, but roads construction that is substandard that can cause vehicles and people harm.

The magistrate will not even look at the vehicle as the vehicle is at the police station. The magistrate just reads a charge of unroadworthy vehicle and fines you ksh10000 or 3 months in jail. Do any traffic offence that is not an accident and since your details are on the database, you receive mail with the amount of fine to pay. No wastage of time on a judicial process.

That one of the license was how it was before, then people complained that police were detaining drivers by confiscation of licenses then NTSA came with that solution. Now we have gone backwards 2 steps.
@@MagotsiLaw Before NTSA came up with the app you couldnt. The APP was a response to motorists complaints. Now have gone back to the bad manners of the police. This can be challenged as unconstitutional because there was no public participation and this amendment meets the threshold. This is a fundamental change affecting many people and a miscellaneous amendment bill can not be used to change it.
All those are policies not laws. We abide by those policies because we don’t have good lawyers to fight for our constitutional rights. Most of those policies go against the constitution of Kenya.

They have no time to do what they are paid to do by the taxpayers.
