Thank you for such an awesome tutorial, my wife and I both have Siamese twin phones her back was coming loose on her phone so I ordered a gasket kit. Thinking it was just the gasket as I removed the back cover, I noticed that the battery was puffed up at that point I searched and found your video. Thank you so very much for taking the time and helping people like myself. I was questioning whether to take it apart, but being that I have been an underground mechanic for over 40 years and now retired. Never working on things this high tech and this small. But taking caution as you stated in your video I was able to get through it very easily. We live in a small rural area in Wyoming and they have no repair shops for cell phones. Would like to thank you again as the phone is working perfectly. Steve in wonderful Wyoming, have a great day.

Thank you for this tutorial, I watched it many times as I replaced my battery. Big shocker was, as I pulled out the old battery, there was some sort of spark and I panicked and thought I broke the phone! BUT after putting it all back together the phone turned on and somehow everything seems to work! I thought it was the fingerprint sensor that sparked but after testing it works fine somehow, perhaps I just imagined it because the glue was so resilient without isopropanol alcohol. So after the spark I went out and ran to 5 stores and the 5th had it, was overpriced but I needed to know if i broke the phone so bought it want back and bathed the phone in it lol. After batter came off a little more easily.

glad you fixed your phone with my tutorial. The spark was from the old battery. always good to take it out with iso Prophyl. and try to use flat tools. And also will help to drain old battery to zero percent to kinda diffuse any charge in it..

@@JordyXRepairs Ohh that could be yes the old batery might have been the spark! Thank god you told me to remove the connector in the video or perhaps that could have been bad for the rest of the phone lol.
