Approximately how long did this take? I imagine you had to keep pausing to let the paint dry before moving onto the next color when laying it down over white? (New to acrylic)

I ruined 3 canvas trying to do the northern lights...I got the background done...I can't get my lights to look like yours...not even close!! I have 2 yellowish greenish blobs on my canvas...I tried to do it with a fan brush like you're doing...what am I doing wrong?? My shading is horrible...do you have any tutorials on shading??? Help...I love all your paintings...but I can't do them...lol...I'm a beginner...I'm trying...haven't given up yet lol
👍I was horrible at first, too. If you don't give up and keep practicing, you will draw a much better picture than me.
