Wuxia is a genre of fantasy within Chinese fiction. It's essentially a genre of fantasy that follows the adventures of martial artists in an ancient Chinese setting. This is an extremely popular genre of fiction in mainland China and there are loads of Wuxia stories, many of which have live action drama adaptations. The Untamed for instance, is a Wuxia as well as Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. I personally really like this subgenre of fantasy it's always full of drama! And is of course brimming with Chinese culture which makes it unique and interesting.

So far, Rent A Girlfriend is up to vol 17 in English. 18-21 will be out by the end of the year. Really shy vol 4 releases later this year. Black Butler has 31 vols and 32 is out later this year. This is all release info for the US so I don't know the dates for the UK. But at least this helps know what's released in English in general.
Really old manga to look into if you're interested is AI Love You (9 vols). Also by the author of Love Hina. Psychic Academy (11 vols). And last but not least, Chibi Vampire (14 vols). It also has 8 light novels, 9 total, but the last one never got released in English sadly. Least the regular manga was completed.

I'd heard - and I don't know how accurate this is - but the time loop/groundhog day kinda manga are technically considered isekai too. That's why we've been getting more of that stuff too
@CaketinzDoesManga I know you're the isekai queen, so I was wondering if you have heard of or watched the anime titled "Farming Life in Another World" its pretty good so far.
Also, in terms of Solo Leveling, the online version is complete, but the physicals are still ongoing, even the light novel. So it's unsure how many volumes there will be. It's said to be 14 volumes but idk for sure
I know how you feel. I don't go manga shopping often unless it's a girls day with my friends, my birthday or Christmas. 😆 But don't be ashamed of putting out videos late or not, love. Do whatever feels comfortable for you.

I can't tell whether you are putting out hauls later than others, as I always watch them way too late /out of order anyway, but you have read quite a few of them already, being able to give your opinion on them. That sounds like a really good tradeoff to me ;)

Regarding having to film big haul videos: Maybe you can split up your monthly hauls into several parts (like two or so) so that you can actually film some of them in the middle of the month (I really have now idea about a youtuber's schedule)? I enjoy small and big hauls, so I assume we are fine with whatever is more convenient for you.
I also never got into Tower of God, and I tried several times on webtoons. But I am really excited that they now print some of their series. I've got Lore Olympus (I adore this series so much) and I've ordered Remarried Empress (I dunno why it's not being shipped :/ )
I am looking forward to the reorganisation videos, I find them really satisfying ^-^
PS: Merry, belated Christmas ;) Never too late! For Christmas, I got Marshle Vol.1 and MPD Psycho Vol 1 omnibus. Really excited to read the latter but it also looks quite dark.
Some of the series you can't speak of because..."degenerate" 😆 I've had nothing but good experiences with Forbidden Planet online. Sometimes pre orders are stuck in purgatory somewhere, so I have to cancel or wait and hope (I'm still waiting on Witch and the beast vol 9) I would like if they updated their catalogue/ preorders a bit more often. But generally their prices are decent and my go to!
forbidden planet is usually my go to for manga in the UK. the only gripe I have is that on the website their release date info is usually incorrect and not updated often
Got to go pick up volume's 6,7and 10 of call of night out to my nans to pick up . And on the 16th im ordering volume 33 of my hero academia and volume's 3 and 4 of dont toy with me miss nagatoro.
I did not enjoy avant-garde yumiko. It was too much.

I have been wanting to try some GL to broaden my reading, would you ever do recommendations by genre? I think it would be interesting since you have such a broad range. An aside but where did you get the tuxedo Sam squishmallow in the uk I want the Sanrio ones so bad 😭 as a BL collector I have the titans bride and I have read pretty far online and like….it’s actually decent 😂 I always find it funny when I click on something for a laugh because it seems funny and wild then it ends up actually being good

So just warning, I don't think you will enjoy slasher maidens. Yes it plastic wrapped but it is very much a horror based manga. The girls have then powers of American slasher movie villian and there's alot of disturbing scenes. I really enjoy it but I don't think caketins will.
