I've always use wallet case for many years. I phone 6 is when i started using one. I hate using stand alone wallets. Your right when it comes to me forgetting my wallet than my phone

100% agree with everything you said. I love my wallet on my Pro Max. Much stronger magnetically than 99% of the reviews say. Never fallen off.
Does it stick as strongly as the MagSafe charger?
@@MarshallBeyer I’d say very close to. If you slide the wallet off it’s easier than to try and take it off from the top

I just got mine yesterday and it works great so far.
Yeah he is right. I love it and have had it since launch. I’ve had a wallet case for a long time now, from speck and others. Use to be able to Qi charge with them and now can’t. Being able to remove it is brilliant. I toss my wallet in my valet when I get home and put it on when I leave. It has never come off in my pocket, in my car, anywhere. It also looks slick too.
Actually works pretty well, as long as you’re thinking of it as a wallet that you can attach to your phone, instead of as part of your phone.
Pro tip - when you get home and aren’t using your wallet, you can slap it on your refrigerator. Easy to keep track of.

Before iPhone 12, I had iPhone cases with wallets and even the ones you just stick to the back of any case. Loving this iPhone 12 magsafe wallet 😍

I really loved my leather folio case for my Max Pro 11, I recently got the iPhone 12 Max Pro and was disappointed that the Folio cases weren't an option and instead you have to purchase a silicone Magsafe case and the leather wallet accessory which translates to more spending.
Interested in the stand your using to display & prop your iPhone up in this video; specifically for the iPhone 12 Pro Max that I’m hoping to buy within the next month or so. Could you share the name, please? Leaning towards this instead of a case with a built in stand. Curious on your thoughts of this stand vs a case with built-in stand. Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks

I just got mine couple days ago and I think it’s pretty awesome 👌 paired with the leather case the magnets feel stronger and wallet more secure. Haven’t had a problem with it so far. I also do a lot of bike riding and I feel a lot better knowing I have my wallet on my phone in front pocket instead of the possibility of it falling out my back pocket.

I agree. Imagine it was strong enough to not tear off putting it into your pocket the way other reviewers were showing us? It would be ridiculously strong lol some people wouldn’t even be able to take it off
I could not shake the wallet off intentionally even though my clear Apple case is Teflon-slick, takes work to remove intentionally. I LOVE it.

I love my saddle brown MagSafe wallet on my iPhone 12. I have the Apple leather case on my phone as well. I haven’t had any issues with the wallet falling off when using my phone, putting it in my pocket, pulling it out, etc. I have noticed it seems to grip better against the leather case than it does the phone by itself. It feels more slick and slides more when it’s just on the glass.
Has the brown worn down well, or would you have preferred black to avoid seeing it wear off?

Love mine, doesn’t fall off at all. Very secure and I’ve ditched my old bulky wallet now.
Does the wallet have different adhesion strengths with MagSafe case versus no case?

Ordered a blue one even though I use Apple Pay quite a bit. For larger purchases especially with Amex , stores want a physical card.
I had the old version of this wallet and just got the new one. I totally agree with what this guy is saying. It's a little expensive, but if you don't mind spending a little extra, I think it's worth it.
I got it, I like it.
I was a little peeved when big CZcamsr's started coming out saying that the wallet was not a good recommendation because it kept falling off of the back of their phone as they placed it in their pocket. If you wear extremely tight jeans, I'm sure it will fall off unless you put a finger over the wallet to guide it into your pocket. For everyone else, I don't see how they'd have a problem with it falling off.
I think this MagSafe wallet is very smart, better than those folio cases that makes my phone bigger than it needs to be.
Now I am waiting for a MagSafe power bank from Apple and life will be perfect.
Had mine for 3 weeks pretty nice i almost always use apple pay so i dont need many cards just use it for my license, debit, and costco card all my other credit cards on apple pay

I switched from android to iPhone last week and I became such an apple fan boy 😅 I love the apple wallet, I got the wisteria wallet and case, it looks so good with the sierra blue 13 pro.
I’m the same way about phone wallets. Been using one for 10 years. My personal favorite was CM4, now known as the Smartish Wallet Slayer. This looks like the best option for my new 12 mini, I just haven’t bought it yet because it’s the holidays and my gf hates that I buy myself things. Haha
My new iPhone mini comes in the mail tomorrow. I’m cautiously interested in this to replace my rarely used billfold with a credit card and drivers license.

I LOVE this wallet!!! I’ll admit I was a little skeptical after hearing all the bashing on this wallet. I’m glad that I decided to give it a try and not listen to the many naysayers. A purchase that I am truly happy with, no regrets at all.

As with all phone accessories, this is a matter of preference due to lifestyle. Some people like thin cases, others like thicker protective cases, and the rest use no case at all. Some like phone grips, some don’t. I love the wallet because I am low maintenance and do not commute too much. Whereas, if you live a more active or rugged lifestyle, it may not be the case with you! Either way, great review!
Agree with u in its entirety - what I’d like (apart from being made in China) is some form of putting bank notes inside
I loves prospective because this wallet is truly just meant for convenience and not long term use on the back of the phone. its meant for dual use and being able to have simple access to those cards you use on a consistent basis.

Love the wallet.
Watching how easily you could slide it off with your thumb 4:31 and 5:27 makes it seem like the magnets are too weak for day to day handling without risking loosing it without actually being aware and taking extra care with handling.
Perfect for my usage. Enhanced license, Pistol Permit and room for a backup credit card.
Had this for a good few weeks and I’m in love with much as you’ve described your your reasoning for loving it.
Stores about the right amount of cards, fills the hand in the right spot, and doesn’t obstruct wireless charging nor does it force you to remove your cards first or pop your phone out of your case. Also, leaves no adhesive residue if you’re ever reselling your phone and/or case.
Stronger magnets, sure. But it’s not as bad as people have been making it out to be.

He's not the only one that hates it. There's others out there that think the wallet is ridiculous and mkbhd has a long. Its in your pocket and you take your phone out and the wallet slips out so easily. Can you imagine you losing the wallet. Rather get the wallet that's built in the case

@@volcom1722 I wouldn't trust putting a wallet at the back of my phone. There's apple pay inside the phone, don't need a wallet with id or credit cards at the back. Not worth the risk. If you have a small thin wallet like that, you might as well put it in your chest pocket. Or get a phone that has a sleeve where you can put your card in there, more likely not to slip out by accident

It’s a great product it works fine with me it is meant to be coming off the phone I think people don’t get how this product really works that’s why they judge it wrongly

I barely got the leather case and its not bad but the phone pops out of the case and in the long term that it’s annoying i don’t know if the case came out defective or the magnet its juts trash for those who want the apple leather case you should keep this on the look out now for the leather wallet i dont know if its going to be the same
I got the new Apple wallet case, while its ok and has a purpose I prefer the Apple Folio Case released last year for the iPhone 11 Series, for me that worked best, as it covered the entire iPhone plus the inside flap housed credit cards and cash. Sadly Apple did not release a Folio case for iPhone 12 - bad move.

The only problem comes when you try to put your phone into your pocket, and the wallet falls off. I think it would be better to have a case with an integrated pocket to one credit card. Or easily just put the card under the case and you can use it with paypass.

Anyone interested in the MagSafe wallet should consider the pop socket PopWallet or PopWallet+ it works better than MagSafe and is removable leaving only a small mount on the back that allows you to wirelessly charge.

Been using this for a month now and do not like the wallet. Holds to the phone no problem, but you cannot remove a card without taking the wallet off of the back of the phone. Sometimes feel like you need three hands to manage the phone/wallet/card/PIN entry/etc.
Is the wallet any different on a silicone case then the leather case (stronger) ??

Mine doesn’t have the Apple logo on the back I’m so confused. I bought it off Amazon, it said it was an Apple product. I got the wallet in a Apple box all sealed up
Despite the outrageous price, I ordered one of these. I loved the idea, but took it back immediately - the magnet is simply not strong enough for me. I can’t afford to loose my ID, credit cards, etc. I have used a phone wallet for years and have loved it. Unfortunately, for me, the MagSafe wallet would require constant focus not to slip off. The Mujjo leather wallet case is far more of a premium quality, more beautiful, and less money.
Curious what kinda case you have cuz I have a leather case and I literally have to make the motion of throwing a baseball to make my case fall off .
Perhaps there should also be a feedback like an animation or a sound or a vibration whenever the magsafe wallet gets detached with your phone. In that way, you will be aware that it fell off.

Looks nice but thats about it. Got mine about 2 weeks ago with clear case for 12 pro max, magnet is very poor. the wallet slips off quite easily and every time u need to take a card out u need to take the wallet off the phone. Should have bought something better like Mujjos leather wallet case.
When I put the wallet in my iphone 12 mini nothing appears on the screen, if nothing sounds :-(

Color me skeptical. The magnet seems too weak to be secure. It’s too bad there isn’t a way to activate stronger magnets once you have the wallet aligned (although that would necessitate a much bulkier wallet or iPhone, which contradicts the purpose).
At the end of your review I still don’t even know how many cards you can put in the wallet and whether you can access them easily or not!

The only thing that stopped me from getting this is the times that I carry cash every now and then BUT cash would just go in my pocket i got tired of those thick bulky wallets
I purchased it even after looking at some big CZcamsrs shitting on it. Now I felt in love with it beautiful aesthetic, and a really strong magnet. I kinda understand people that use super tight jeans and that might get it untached. But since I always use sport/soggy pants it’s just super convenient. And for me 3 cards is more than enough I have my Credit Card, My ID and my Transport Card.
