  • Germany says it will intervene in the genocide case against Israel, its longtime ally, in front of the International Court of Justice. Some Germans say the country’s defense of Israel goes hand in hand with repression of pro-Palestine voices at home. So what’s behind Germany’s unwavering support of Israel?

Many Jews with Zionist background and other people from the high society rather supported and financed fascist movements back then and got high positions in fascist systems across Europe (where workers and common people suffered from war, poverty and fierce repressions) - while they rather fled anti-fascist systems like Soviet Union and GDR (former East Germany - where workers and common people rather had a good life within a much more decent community).

Anyone who does not live in Germany cannot imagine the daily discrimination and racism. Firstly, there are barely 90 thousand Jews living in Germany. A minority is being protected that is neither present in everyday life nor has any cultural influence in Germany. Which in itself is a shame because Jewish life in Germany was also present in the past. Minorities such as Turks, Arabs or people from Africa and Asia shape both life and culture in Germany. And these minorities are excessively discriminated against in Germany, whether it's at the doctor's or when looking for an apartment or when dealing with the authorities. In other words, Germany tries to present itself to the outside world as an open and anti-Semitic country, but is completely discriminatory and racist, just like in the past. In fact, just as it used to be towards Jews. There is plenty of evidence, for example, that the Springer publishing house, which used to be a propaganda medium, makes racist statements on a daily basis or that parties such as the CDU and the AfD make overtly racist statements. But when it comes to Jews, they are now purified, but as I said, Jewish life in Germany hardly exists, which is why the parties don't find it so difficult. To put it in a nutshell, Germany is not against war and against the positions on human rights that they once promised, but is an active warmonger, as it has been in recent decades. Because German weapons are still being sold by the billions and these are not just for defense. There are German weapons in virtually every war zone. And such a country makes a big deal about human rights

It's guilt. They know their nation's responsibility for the Holocaust is so enormous that nothing can ever truly atone for it, but giving Jews their own country and supporting it through thick and thin is the best they can do. The need for Israel as an atonement proxy is so great that they have made the country essentially sacred, and any criticism of it, *even if true,* is sacrilege, and met with dismissal and anger. Nothing gets through.

The USA is supposed to be better than that, but I think this shows the extraordinary influence Israel has over the USA, because the USA is taking HUGE hits for this, losing MASSIVE credibility and reputation over this, and suffering EXTREME loss of geopolitical power over this.
