Alhamdulillah. JazakaAllahu khayran for lauchi this program. I will use this course inshaAllah to teach myself and my children and include this in their homeschooling curriculum. Muslims should watch this program to clarify/correct misconceptions and innovations. Alhamdulillah. I found this video today. Thank you so much.

Linguistic and Shar'i definitions of Taharah:
Linguistically: To clean and purify oneself from dirt
The Shar'i definition of Tahara has 2 parts:
    1. To uplift the state of impurity(hadath)
    2. To remove al-khabath (physical filth)
The state of impurity(hadath) is of two types:
    1. Major Hadath - this means you are in a state where you are obligated to perform Ghusl
    2. Minor Hadath - this means you are in a state where you are obligated to perform Wudu
al-khabath refers to things which are considered impure in Islam. For example, some people might find snot nasty, but having it on your shirt doesn't affect your prayer. However, if a dog licks your hand and you don't clean it with water, then your prayer isn't considered valid because dog saliva is seen as impure in Islam.
Other things which are considered impure in Islam are Human Urine and Human Feces.
3 places that must be purified from physical Impurities (al-khabath) in order for your Salah to be correct:
    1. The place of Prayer
    2. Your own body
    3. Your Clothes
Example: If someone has human urine on his pants, he must remove it before praying Salah; otherwise, his Salah is not correct.
