I first saw Phil Keaggy in 1972. And he was amazing THEN. He is the only artist I know of that continues to grow, in ability AND faith, over the years.
First time I saw Keaggy live I was expecting a big band and massive PA, I dragged a bunch of friends that didnt want to go. when he came out with just an acoustic guitar I thought my friends were going to walk out. As we were leaving my friends all said "That was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life" I could not even pretend to have been expecting what Phil did with that guitar. we are all stunned.
Always feel he is delighting playing his instrument for his King. So humbling and refreshing, makes me want to give my all to Christ for His Eternal Glory!
Lost count of how many times I've come back to listen to this song - so good! Was able to attend one of PK's appearances at the Junction Center (not this one). Can't get enough!
Phil Keaggy played at Mount Hermon (near Santa Cruz CA) last night, and that was the first time I'd heard this song. It immediately joined my list of greatest Keaggy songs.
Hey I first heard you in92 at Mt paren in Atlanta I'm a killer drummer but I'm more concerned about my soul /keaggy you inspire me to reach out to the lord but I seem to fail miserably but thanks for your encouragement please help cover me heart to God

Probably the most amazing performance I've ever seen and I've seen a lot.

At Christ Episcopal, or Packard Music Hall?
So so annointed!!!
Saw Glass Harp in 1971 or 1972 in Marietta Ohio. They opened up for Mahavishnu Orchastra, which was incredible.

Actually for us Salvationists, it's "Saved to save". We are saved by God's grace to save lost souls. The lyrics aren't wrong though.
Can't even tell you how much I loved that!!!! SuhWEET!!!!
I believe God may have taken the middle finger of his right hand because we mortals would not be able to handle his music if he had all 10 fingers!
