You should also mention the issue with the SI feature on the Solix/MSI+ transducer when using with the 360. When you use the Y cable and are running the 360 and then try to run the side imaging without the 360 in the water, the unit will not recognize the SI function of the actual transducer. This does not happen with a MDI+ transducer. You can have side imaging with only having a DI model by utilizing the 360 as your si image source now. If you are trying to chart water after using the 360 and the 360 is out of the water, the unit will not recognize a source for side imagining while you have the si transducer. Sorry for the long explanation, but learned the hard way.
This is how their y cable was designed. The Mega 360 is a your source of SI and it will remove the SI coming over from the unit in order to receive it from the 360. We have done a video on getting SI from the 360 on your DI unit but the information you are speaking of might be good for a future video! Thanks for the feedback!

Sir, after watching your video and you talking about the 360 adapter cable, my 360 did not come with that. I contacted where it was purchased from, and they stated it does not come with the adapter cable. Am I missing something? THank you!
Yes it should absolutely come with the adapter cable(not the y cable.) I just broke open a new box to double check myself. The cable I am referring to looks just like the MKR-MI-1
I am adding a 360 to an Ultrex with built in transducer. I plan on having 2 Helix graphs in the bow with 1 dedicated to the 360. Everything is linked through the Ethernet hub. Question, will I need the Y cable. If not, I bought it used, is there a part # for the mega 360 adapter cable AD HELIX M360 which is normally supplied with the unit?

No. Neither of these Y cables are mean to interpret non mega information such as the US2. Humminbird would suggest you add an external MDI/MSI transducer and run the 720107-1.

Not a y cable issue,but my 360 is not showing connected. Not even an option to choose it as my transducer. Any help would be appreciated

You will not need the y cable if you are running your built in transducer to the other graph. The information will share through the network.

@user-ev4tx7hf6y if you do not have the Helix adapter cable you should be able to order it directly from Humminbird.
