Still got the code, so I tried adjusting the throttle adjuster where the two contact points meet to get a wider gap. It worked no more 520194-7 code. Went for a little rip than a new code came up.520211-3 code saying idle speed to high. Than it went away lol hopefully it stays gone! I read it could be related to a bad tps.
@Carlos Mercado this code still comes back for me. I've seen other vids saying it could be cause from different things. Havnt found the exact reason yet... very frustrating
Thank you! I keep getting an intermittent check engine light as soon as i hit the throttle. Cuts all power. I took the entire switch apart, cleaned it, cleaned connections and going to put it back together with grease. Hope it helps.
@@07yfz470 follow your throttle cable, see if it’s hitting the computer corner! There’s a plastic lip that mine is sitting on and catching the throttle cable itself and it’s losing the power. I’m thinking about getting some good gas and a match n possibly walking away to see what happens. This is my next go to!
@@upthecreekyt Don't you just love know it alls . Thanks for the video. I m going to try it tomorrow for sure. All I did is pull it off my trailer and tried to drive it across the yard an I barely made it. It went on the trailer just fine tho. Doesn't make any sense

Scroll through with the select(SEL) button beside the mode button until you get to the code. It will be a six digit number followed by a space and then a single digit or a two digit number(depending on the code).

Just got the same code with my 2011 850. Gonna try and take it out clean it up and we'll see got a ride planned for next Saturday so here's hoping!

There's a small clip you have to trip to remove it.

That's got nothing to do with it. Its them 2 metal contacts inside the throttle housing. Throttle cable adjustment is needed.
If you say so bud. Funny how adjusting the throttle cable did nothing, but this fixed it.

Not true. same code here and throttle cable is perfect. mine is intermittent as seeing this video i have not tried the fix. i get the 2 and 7
How did you get to the codes I had e a 2019 sportsman 850

I can't remember 100%, but I believe that was it.
