I agree. M2K is probably so used to winning, that he is happy to know there are challengers out there and that he CAN be beaten. It's actually a good feeling knowing that there are players more skilled than you. It makes you want to play the game even more.

Roy did return in Smash 4, though, so joke's on machinima. :P
Also, apparently M2K admitted Sethlon got better to the point M2K cannot beat his Roy using Marth anymore, and has therefore to resort to DK for a bigger chance, as seen in another PM Grand Finals later.
Honestly, it's pretty satisfying seeing M2K being chaingrabbed! :)

Wow. This is the pinnacle of Project M. It does not get better than this.
Roy's neutral B is so good when you use it in the air it's like his forward smash but you can use it in the air as well i use it after a combo and they're off stage and i jump off to hit them when they try to recover good times

For a lot of people they want to treat it like melee 2.0 in some ways. Which while I think is kind of lame is at least a valid reason one might have for wanting to play a melee character in it

***** Just my reccomendation, don't get a Wii. Jus’ get a Wii U. With Smash 4 coming, and Wii U’s backwards compatibilty, it would be better to get a Wii U. And yeah, Project M works on a Wii U.
And if your a GCN Controller Smash Player, there’s an adapter available to play your Gamecube Controller on a Wii/ Wii U.
Nintendo has announced that GCN games will be available for download through the Virtual Console on Wii U.
However, at this time, the Wii U isn’t backwards compatible with GCN games, so you can’t play Melee. :(

I have a question. If a fox is pressuring your shield, n-air shine, how the heck are you supposed to get out of that without taking any damage?
In that situation you either try to roll away, or crouch cancel and wave dash out. Since you can't grab him, try not to challenge his pressure as that's what he wants you to do. Personally I always counter pick Falco against Fox because I have an even chance with the shine, but with characters without shines, spacing out Spacies and not letting them apply pressure is the way to go. Also, sometimes you just let him hti you away and try to stop a potential up smash as a follow up. Just typing this made me realize how broken Fox's pressure options are btw. Hope this helped :3

5:32 should have been a kill for Sethlon, was an amazing combo. Roy's dair is so hard to sweetspot and make a situation for it, but Marth has it easy with his BS spike that anyone can land. PM devs please make Roy's dair a spike. @_@

are the stage pick starter counter pick titles a video overlay or actually in project M? and if they are in project M how do you turn them on?
They're actually in the game. Just hit one of the jump buttons to ban the stage. Can't remember which atm, and I think the other one autobans all non-starter stages.

+Danny Ramsdell (Ember Proof) it is a vesion they use in some tournaments and stuff. in the normal version you can press x and it will autoban all non tourney stages

doesnt the winner suppose to stay with the character they won with?
thats the only thing i get confused with in Smash.
Want one can switch characters, but the loser is allowed to wait until the winner picks until they decide if they want to switch. The reason m2k switched is because he prefers the matchup based on the stage aswell as the character
so like if sethlon picked a character first. M2k cant switch?
If m2k won, then sethlon has to wait for m2k to pick his character, and if he wants, he can change his character to counter. After that, no, m2k can't change his character until the next match
+Alex Chin the loser of the previous game gets to counter pick the stage, and THEN pick his character SECOND. The winning player can change their character based off of the stage pick, but then the loser is then given the opportunity to change their's too as a counter to that, if they wish

i still prefer roy over ike and marth. idk why roy is so underrated and it just pisses me off how he is a lower tier in melee compared to sheik fox and marth. i main roy cause he's my boy lol ✌

how is roy in mele?
Lackluster compared to Marth especially due to his sword since his sweetspots are at the broad of the sword instead of the tip.
Roy is all right, a little harder to use because his sweetspot is at a much shorter range but his kill moves are more effective when landed.
Roy is the better character imo but, marth wins the match up

man melee and pm videos do strange things to me. every time i see someone get a kill by doing what was done at 10:52 i get this strange urge in my muscles to take my hand, and make a fist followed by my middle finger quickly propping up, right in front of the screen.

Donhambino yes actually. It becomes much more interesting and intense that way. Edge hogging is a bullshit cheap way to get a kill, and its just not cool to watch plain and simple.
