Thanks for posting this video. My daughter and I will be visiting and this has equipped us with plenty of informaition for our travels.
🌟Thank you very much! I have a new updated Kamala video coming up soon😊
Very good video thank you where are you travelling next?
🌟I am traveling to El Nido Palawan Philippines 🇵🇭, I just left Boracay and Puerto Princesa Philippines 😊
Very chilled out there. I've changed my mind and might stay here in June
I would recommend Kamala Beach to anyone visiting beautiful Phuket Thailand! Amazing beautiful beach!
@@travelingfrogman Surin beach also looks lovely
Surin Beach is very beautiful! If you visit Kamala, Surin Beach is very close
We enjoyed our stay in Kamala beach. What surprised us was low tide around 4:30 in the afternoon. The sunsets were the best.
Absolutely love Kamala Beach! I have also stayed here a few times myself. Yup, one of my favorite sunset stops in Phuket!
kamala looks really peaceful!
Yes, Kamala Beach is very peaceful even with number of tourists that you see. One of my favorite Phuket beaches 😊
Nice one fella, will be there next month. really enjoyed this.
Thank you very much! Kamala Beach is one of my favorite Phuket beaches!
haha awesome video! why are you called frogman? were you in the army?
Thank you my friend! I was a Frogman in US Navy😊🐸🔱
Hi, I’m going to stay at Kamala beach area at the end of this month and hotel is on BB. Is it safe to eat street food? Would you suggest tested places to eat in this area? 😊
🌟Good Choice! Kamala is very beautiful and great northern Phuket location! For most part street food is pretty safe, I Wat it quite a bit. But take caution and use your gut feeling, if it doesn't look good or cooked move on to the next vendor. The safest place to eat though is in resorts or some notable restaurants they maintain high level cleanliness.
The smoke season starts soon although I don't think it affects the southern islands where your at just up in the mainland 😊
In previous trips here Phuket, especially when Indonesia fires the smoke was very bad, so far no problem. But in general down south Thailand does not have much affect
Kamala is not for everyone. It has to be said that the Muslim influence is stronger in Kamala compared to more cosmopolitan Patong, Karon and Kata. Foreign tourists may find the evening police roadside checkpoint in Kamala to be jarring.
I have not really noticed myself and have traveled around Kamala for some time now.
@@travelingfrogman My local Buddhist Thai driver made a point of these social differences. I was sceptical. But, surprise, surprise: my driver was right. At the end of the day, there is no substitute for local knowledge. I stayed in Kamala for a week after saying in Kata for 2 weeks. The difference between north and south with their respective ambiance and atmosphere was night and day. If a tourist is to stay in one locale in Phuket during their holiday, Kata or Karon would most certainly be the leading choices.
@@user-kc1tf7zm3b Thank you for your comments! I like to stay in various locations in Phuket and yes the most popular locations are South Kata Patong, Karon. To each is own though I spoke to many folks and they find their favorite location and really enjoy it.
Cosmopolitan Patong, 55 that's a laugh
Mai Khao is not touristy and over the bridge up-to Khao Lak
