The lyrics of MO speak to me in a personal way that i have seldom experienced before. Some bands will have a few songs that touch me, but Andy's lyrics brings tears to my eyes. i love how each album tells a story.

Yeah when the sonf started up I played that part back again. That would be cool if it connected like that. Definitely has a meaning. Bed Head seems to follow this song, based on the sound at the end of this track

I've always been super impressed with how cohesive individual Manchester Orchestra albums are, but I can already tell this is gonna take the cake, just by how well this and Bed Head worked in the same motifs without sounding like the same song.
Whole album is that way.. this particular one also has Dinosaur's motifs as well. Pretty much every song on here relates to the others and visa versa in some way. Be it a melody, lyric, or theme.
Keel Timing-Bed Head-Annie-Telepath is one of the best song sequences I've ever heard. They need to open their live shows with this though.
'Angel Of Death' cannot be out o'that sequence! is just epic

@@LeAcacia im a long time fan. I saw them live in 2006 opening for brand new. A black mile to the surface is my favorite work by them. The old stuff is fantastic dont get me wrong but this is a case of a band improving their sound over time and its highly unusual.

I've never been good at analyzing lyrics, let alone can I easily pay attention to them (ADHD brain fun), but it seems likely that this album is centred around mental heath, and I can just tell that this album is going to hit so deep with so many of us, if not all of us.

With that being said, nothing touches the raw, epic grit of METN. That album was something else. So is this. Not even close to each other.
I was swimming in the pool when this song started to play in the gym. I liked it so much so I left the pool, ran to the dressing room, grabbed my phone and did shazam :) and thats how i know this song.

My gosh, how do these guys keep pumping out rock music so freaking good?? In another time, pre-internet, when record stores drove musical tastes, and we all listened to the same unfragmented genres, MO could have been "mainstream" in the rock world. They would have hated it, but at least more people could hear their music.
