I have a suggestion for you. Try to get someone to film you while they are sitting inside one of the oncoming vehicles so we can get a sense of how fast you blow past those cars and edit the footage in while you pass that very vehicle.

Are there downhill races with longboards?

Yes there in fact is and it’s quite a different discipline. For starters it’s all hands downs slides, using gloves with slide pucks on them too reliably slow them down. Downhill racing longboards are usually significantly shorter and narrower than regular longboards alike. They have massive 75mm+ wheels for ultimate grip, braking force, and speed. The trucks are also narrow, designed with stability in mind while being extremely responsive so you can really lean into turns.
