The new GoPro Hero 11 Black with the Superview is awesome. Click here to get yours: prf.hn/l/b91yOWD
Great 👍🏻
Hi buddy, which camera setting are you using on this video? Plmk!!! Compliments on your great riding, awesome skills and funny comments🤟
no superview is god awful and nauseating. GoPro fisheye sucks and always has..
This reminds me of cycle hill in Chicago bachelor's woods. Huge hills , Deep valleys for gaining perpetual motion on jumps 🙏🙏🙏‼️
I have tell you I just love watching you videos. I only wish I was half as talented!
I love the way you say " Gonna take it easy" then fly down the course like you're in a downhill competition lol.
Yo I came here to say this and seeing your comment killed me lol
Maybe take it easy to the point where he won't fall and die
@@user-kr1de1dc7s It's amazing to see how skilled he is that he considers this as 'taking it easy'.
Taking it easy compared to if you were in a race.I don't think I would go that fast if I were taking it hard
"gonna take it easy" absolutely shreds the next part
i dont see many riders admitting they need a break or are having a rough time over terrain, kudos for keeping it honest and giving a more real picture of what riding is like. loving the descriptions!
Always transparent. I got baby hands!
@@remymetailler have you tried Revgrips or anything like that? Although I think they work better for arm pump than in the hand pain.
@@Cassienope is there even anything against hand pain on the market? Never had arm pump or something like that, but after a minute of fast, rough downhill my hands just die like Remys do... really annoying, and I hope its gonna get better with riding as I havent had the chance to do many long dh runs in bikeparks until now...
@@ironeinar Nothing specifically. Powerful brakes help for me. Like The Hayes Dominion's and TRP DHR Evos. Bike setup / bar roll / body position also helps. DH bikeparks are a whole different beast though. I think the RevGrips help there. So do DH casing tires and coil forks.
@@Cassienope Well, I do have strong brakes, exactly because of that reason. Maybe I should try the revgrips after all?
My goodness, the Swiss know how to build a bike park. Great video Remy!
They do! So under rated!
Seriously! I wonder why we don't see more swiss podiums at DH world cups!
For swiss podiums, Camille Balanche did do okay this year 😊
I was going to say, Cam Bal owned that sucker.
this is one if the easier bike parks in switzerland
This is a good example of the go pro effect. It looks ok and rideable, but i know this track and it is more like be an expert or die trying. Well done Mr. Métailler.
for me it doesn't look ok and rideable lol
No one thinks that’s rideable😭
@@BjGoA lot of these trails with the trees so close seem to me like severe spinal injuries waiting to happen. For the record though I don't ride bikes.
This is your best work ever. I actually felt like i was in the riders seat with you. The new Hero 11 coupled with your riding is incredible. Remember those settings Remy!
Impossible to watch this without leaning my head into the corners with him. LOVE IT.
Was a pleasure taking you there and spending the day with you! Crazy how fast you ride those tracks 🤙
Thanks Julian! See you soon in Germany!
"On the right hand side you can see the cliff, so let's take it easy" - he says, and goes down the track faster than I ever could. 😁
Amazing what you can do on a bike, Remy. Great content and great bike park.
This is what I came here to say :)
The longer I live in Switzerland, the more I come to deeply appreciate what potential we have here.
welcome to my home bikepark ♥️
@@venjo4040 hows living in swiss? hows the winter? genuinely curious from someone and not a google search
Man... switzerland seems to be a paradise on earth! Dream of one day visit your country, it looks like some kind of fairytale hahahaha
Enjoy it!
@@GaedeRafael It has it pro and cons, and I am German by the way., But live here for a couple of years. For technical alpine trails or in general for downhill it is really great and make it difficult to live abroad. :)
@@jwallz1 depends where you live, here in Basel close to Germany and France it is pretty mild and no snow at all. Also no bigger mountains. If you live in the south, like Trentino, the Italian part, the climate is also pretty mild. In the central part and french speaking part it is more alpine and depending on the location snow is pretty much guaranteed. In general infrastructure like cable cars and busses are excellent, flawless and reliable. You have many areas with pretty good bike support, actually they actively advertise regions for biking. Basic living costs are high and incomes as well. :) If you are from US, relating to people is actually the opposite… ;) Relatively closed society, depending where you live.
@11:45 “we are going to take it easy” and then he proceeds to fly down that complex trail that would scare me to death 😂. Amazing skill and humility sir. Great video!
In every mountain biker video I’ve seen, every rider makes it look so easy. It isn’t. If you don’t know what your doing, you can get seriously hurt or worse. I’m not a mountain biker myself but, I have a huge respect for every mountain biker out there that pushes themselves and their bikes to the limit. Awesome video 👍
Looked very rough in multiple spots. Those long runs can really kill the hands. Looks like you had the trails to yourself. Great riding.
It is amazing how fast you go on a track you don't really know at all. I do have to say that your definition of taking it easier is slightly different than mine 😂.
Remy, love your honesty in these videos, in your hype and excitement and in your moments where you are really fatigued and are having a hard time holding on. It's always feels genuine.
I've been watching Remy for years and his calm and honest narrative while shredding courses never cease to amaze me. I actually will consider a Propain as my next bike thanks to Remy. Stay healthy and keep it real Remy!
Is he a pro rider ?
A hidden world-class gem. A true pleasure to see someone ride it so well - Thank you
4:20 I wouldn’t be able to say “Look at this view,” while motioning my hand on a trail like that, I’d be fearing for my life. Gotta respect and admire his mountain biking skills, it’s not something I’d be able to do at all. And not something everyone can do.
Remy, I learn something every time I watch one of your videos! Thanks for being so good at what you do. Respect ✊
It is awesome watching you ride. Gets me pumped before I hit the trails...going much slower and absolutely not hitting jumps like do! Fantastic video as always.
The whole Alps region is filled with amazing trails, Italy, Swiss, Austria, France =) Glad it is always only 10hours driver away from my home :p
This is AWESOME! Have been on a kick of watching extreme sports on CZcams and am continually amazed by the fearlessness of some of the people on this earth. Astounding. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride! You’re a total badass
Great video Remy. That bike park looks amazing. The new GoPro footage is epic. Keep up the great work. I enjoy your videos, especially when you break down your riding and/or coach other riders.
You make it look so easy, @Remymetailler. You flow so well. Your speed is so high compared to others I see on here. It's a pleasure to watch you, and you are humble. Yeah, this sport seems brutal on the hands. Cheers hon.
The amount of control you have over your bike is amazing!
So many jumps into short space of trail to a heavy switchback berm! Those trails looked gnarly!! Yet so beautiful! LOL! And your voice was not jolty while slashing down the trails! So smooth!
We all wish we could ride at Remy’s “take it easy” pace. Beautiful my friend
Rémy, vous etes une machine!!... always a pleasure to watch you ride. I've watched video's from many different locations and I'm convinced that Switzerland has some of the nicest MTB terrain in the world.
Watching this I was thinking about the lines I used to take skiing, BEFORE working in a physical therapist office and seeing what’s involved to rehab an injury.
That trail would scare the piss out of me 🤣
I love that you mentioned feeling good everywhere except for hand pain. So relatable. So frustrating. But it's reality.
The view is insane I agree and so is that course. Great ride.
Man that view is amazing 🤩
Great video remy!
Nice, I hope you enjoy Switzerland! I always overestimate my endurance while riding alone because the lack of forced breaks. Lol
Man - been there 2 months ago, and seeing you flawlessly fly down is just awesome. Wish I can ride this good one day. (But also that BikePark must be one of the roughest of Switzerland.)
Gorgeous scenery! Superb footage.
You are super talented. Thanks for sharing.
Sick video Remy, and SWI has such nice terrain and parks, enjoy!
Wow wow wow. Mega! Not sure if its just the FOV of the camera but that looked insanely fast steep elevation drops! Crazy!
I've seen a few of these bike trail videos and this one definitely seems like the most fun.
Love it. Thanks for taking me along. Very well done.
SO pure !!!! Thanks for the killer footy and epic commentary.
So Crazy!!! Nice to see you shredding und Switzerland 🎉
I also ride these really difficult tracks in Chur with a local rider. What was so much fun !!! I can Imagine how feel!!!
Never watched anything like this before, that was quite a ride! Thank you for the experience :)
Nice ride! Beautiful park and stunning scenery.😎👍
Oh my! What an awesome Bike Park. I enjoyed every second of this video. Your speed is insane as always.
That was sick buddy, i know the alpine bike park and have also made videos, but to ride like you is just a dream for me. Great work. Ride on and take care🤙
Good Lawrd! What an awesome bike park and trail!!
That reminds me of Winter Park and Angel Fire ( combined ) . Those trails made me happy and hungry .
The Hero 11 really captures the speed better than the 10. It felt like i was there with you. So fast, wow!
Lots of distortion though, and those huge artifacts at 12:45
Шикарное видео! Спасибо, Реми!🤗
that was an amazing trailhead really great video to watch!
Wow you are an amazing rider!!
literally the best Mtb content thank you Remy!!
Makes me feel great that you keep saying how tiring and painful the tracks in this bike park are! As I've always wondered if it was just me suffering! 😄
Wow that's so amazing your so good bro
bah! i never took my bike on to trails like that. this course looks so easy if he can do this.... scary stuff indeed, great skill to get this done
awesome ride mate!!,....thanks for sharing!!
Really like your videos. I'm interested in your speeds though. Anyway you could add a speedometer display?
Wowww.. Man, you're hitting those hard trails with so much speed.. Wowww 🤙🤙
Ohhh yeahhh!! The Blue and Red lines are fun too!!!
Dude, I really enjoyed watching this vid and definitely would like to hit the trail. You had awesome pace all the way down. BTW, for the wrist / hand fatigue, have you perhaps tried bars with more back&upsweep?
Cheers!
Man, that first run in particular was gnarly but looked so fun! I'd like to think I could maybe do about 33% of the features I saw you hit. You were killin it though!
Bad ass riding bro you make it look effortless
Sweet, looks amazing
It`s my happy place :) by the way it is all maintained and build by volunteer work and you @Rémy Métailler are a beast comming down there almost with no breaks!!!
I have fun watching these videos. Thank you. 🙂👍
That is awesome!
I just wanna try it once time like that in my life.
Thanks for the ride.
hey remy, this is so impressive! are you riding these routes for the first time or have you looked at them before? The speed is awesome! I think your videos are great!
I am always looking forward to your videos. They are always👍
That Rock and Roll is one hell of a trail, whoever built that really knew what they were doing
At 61 I wish I was 21. Brings back memories of 1974 best summer ever. And we thought we was extreme.
Beau travail sur ce bike park made in Switzerland 🇨🇭
Dang, that is awesome Remy, I like the recommendations to make rest stops.
Ok-it's on my list for the summer!-cheers!!
friend, you are an expert riding a bicycle, on that tour I would have died about 10 times 😂 new subscriber 👍
i've been to chur. lovely place. all of switzerland is lovely though. nice video!
i feel like the gopro hero 11 depicts the speed a little bit better.. great video as always!!
Incredible!!!!!
Incredible footage! What are your go pro settings? I have the same camera, but your cfg is soooo good. I love your videos.
This looks like so much fun. Wish I had the balls to do this type of stuff
Another great ride! Do you have any room to lighten compression damping to help your hands?
You could have met Nino on the way down! He leaves very close where the track ends ;-) I lived 10y next to Chur…miss the really nice singletracks around that area. Plenty of super steep and exposed trails on the other side of the valley.
Wow, this was amazing to watch. 👍🏾
Remy, if you have the chance to stop on the way back in „Flumser Berge“ or „Flums“, there is the „Seeabfahrt“ (english Descent to the lake), approx. 1000 m down, technical black trail, created by a redbull rider. I am sure you like it. ;) It is really nicely build based on a hiking trail.
Damn bro - that's an insane ride ! 🤟
Nice run, brother! 🤙🏽🤙🏼🤙🏾🤙🏿
Seriously good riding. Amazing bike park
Awesome flow! Love it!
Wow. I’m amazed the tires stand up to that rough terrain.
Awesome video! This was where i got introduced to DH, it was my first Bike park I ever went to... LOL! Really sketchy times but man was it fun and i still love it =)
sick video remy the fact you can do this on an enduro 😮 good stuff
Salut Rémy !
Quelles vidéo de ouf !!! Tu assures grave franchement bravo et ce bike Park en Suisse a l'air vraiment génial !
J'aimerais connaître tes freins que tu utilises sur ton spindrift ?
The trails are so awesome! Would be a blast but I’d be going at least half that speed. Brakes would be worn out by bottom!
Great quality of the GoPro, so sick ;)
Very skilful and brave riding.
Hey Remy Super video ! How big is the difference in your opinion when riding Spindrift in comparison to Tyee and Rage ? I am currently riding it and it feels very similar to my previous Cube DH bike.
Yesterday I got my first go-pro cam and the first thing I did were jumps with the bike 😂 I'm OBSESSED
