One can argue whether more fans of the Leafs should simply decline attending games considering how broken that team is, evidenced by a 3-1 loss earlier this weekend that widened the deficit in that playoff series to 3-1 as well. Corporate sponsorship in the Toronto metro area is partly IMO why MLSE, the ownership group of the Leafs, has been so profitable and why the Leafs are in no danger of being relocated anytime soon if ever.
The Jets have only one post-2018 playoff series win: a 2021 sweep of the Oilers. Just what changes, assuming the Leafs lose their current playoff series, may come to that team's roster have already begun to be debated although the Jets, based in a small-market NHL city, have an uncertain future of their own considering sagging attendance compared to before covid had become a pandemic. Although last year the WHO declared covid had no longer been a pandemic, Jets' ownership group TNSE hasn't adjusted to the new reality or done a particularly good job of building a team that can consistently go on deep playoff runs.
So what happens should the Jets lose their Sunday afternoon Central Time game? I believe questions will begin to be asked about just what changes will have to come to the roster, coaching staff and front office to better position that team for future consistently deep playoff runs. Of Canadian NHL teams the Canucks, Flames, Oilers, Leafs and Habs, unlike the Jets or Sens, have won one or more playoff games beyond opening-round series.
Kevin Cheveldayoff is the longest actively serving GM of a Canadian NHL team, having served as Jets' GM since their relocation from Atlanta. The lack of playoff success the Jets have had, however, also goes to the top of TNSE. Although a loss of their upcoming game won't, should such a loss occur, occur on home ice, a loss by the Jets will IMO be no less painful for fans of the team than the loss by the Leafs of game 4 of their playoff series was for fans of that team. Questions will have to be asked how about the core and whether it's time to make bigger changes that have been made for quite some time. As the fourth game of the Avs-Jets series hasn't yet occurred, one can only theorize as to what may happen in that game.

@richarddesjarlais7849 The Jets' team founded in Atlanta has had limited playoff success, with the Thrashers' having made ONE playoff appearance (during which the NYR in 2007 had swept them) but the Jets' having appeared in just ONE conference final. This postseason is the 6th since that Cup semifinal appearance while the Jets have yet to win a post-2018 playoff game that hasn't been in an opening-round series (having been swept by the Habs in the 2021 North Division final after a sweep of the Oilers during the previous round).

@richarddesjarlais7849 With yet another blowout loss (the most recent one at 5-1 Avs), it's as clear as daylight that defensively-speaking this Jets' season is likely to be done at some point this week (TBD will be whether after game 5 at Canada Life Centre or game 6 back at Ball Arena).

"Cant put all the blame on the refs" as he spends the whole video complaining about the refs. If you're going to whine about the refs you need to take away the jets' 2nd goal. Egregious missed holding call on lehkonen right before they scored

Do the Jets have the team to beat the Avs? They've been outplayed the last two games heavily. And honestly, out played game one just Georgie had a bad game.

Man the jets suck. Last season I am watching them already gave up season tickets. it’s annoying already just no heart dumb penalties. Top line doing nothing. Stupid choice to move ehlers to the third. Coach is annoying too needs to go. They look awful out there just being made to look like fools

I will be really sad if we lose today. It will be another long wait next year. The last game we played ok for period 1 and 2 but the third period was a disaster imho. I love Helly but he looks so tense. May need to play LB at least one game for helly to reset himself imho.
