  • How to print 3d raised silicone ink on Knitting Shoe uppers ?Tips for shoe uppers silicone printing kindly follow:
    XG Silicone for Knitting Shoe Upper printing Tips
    Preparation:
    1.Mesh&Squeegee: 80 (32T) &120(48T) Mesh number ;65-75 degree Squeegee.
    2.: Pigments added ratio:For white and fluorescent color 20%,other color 10%
    3.Catalyst mixing ratio:
    Silicone ink to mix with 2% XG-866B-2
    Crossing linker mix with 6% XG-866B-2+ ,if XG-866B-2 10%
    4.Silicone thinner XG-128AH adding ratio:0-20%
    5.Heating Temp and time: Flash temp :100℃~120℃
    Printing process:
    1.Crossing linker for under coating printing for 1-2 layers:
    Crossing linker XG-360Z-3X 50G
    Extra fast dry Catalyst XG-866B-2+ 3G 6%
    Flash by 100℃-120℃
    To easy to fill the knitting holes to use 80( 38T) mesh
    2.Round Silicone for HD print 6-10+ layers by 32T MESH :
    Round silicone XG-866A-2Y 50G
    Fast dry catalyst XG-866B-2 1G 2%
    Silicone thinner XG-128AH 5-10G 10-20%
    Flash by temp of 100℃-120℃
    if need more high density then print more layers
    To easy to get the knitting fabric smooth to use 80( 38T) mesh
    3.Round Silicone for HD print 4- 6 layers by 48T MESH :
    Round silicone XG-866A-2Y 50G
    Fast dry catalyst XG-866B-2 1G 2%
    Silicone thinner XG-128AH 5-10G 10-20%
    Flash by temp of 100℃-120℃
    4.Color effect silicone printing for 4-6 layers :
    Round silicone XG-866A-2Y 50G
    White color pigment XG-102 10G For white and fluorescent color 20%,other color 10%
    Fast dry catalyst XG-866B-2 1G 2%
    Silicone thinner XG-128AH 5-10G 10-20%
    Flash by temp of 100℃-120℃
    Color layer to use 48T or 63T for CMY color
    4.Glossy silicone ink or matte silicone ink for top coating:
    A, Glossy top coating for 2 layers:
    Glossy silicone ink XG-399-3 50G
    Fast dry catalyst XG-866B-2 1G 2%
    Silicone thinner XG-128AH Silicone thinner is not necessary.
    Flash by temp of 100-110℃
    Have to wait silicone bubbles out first to heat, it will be better to use low temp by longer heating time to avoid bubbles problem.
    If stronger wear testing requirements are required then to use glossy silicone of XG-399-50.
    B, Matte top coating for 1 time:
    Matte silicone XG-866M 50G
    Fast dry catalyst XG-866B-2 1G 2%
    Silicone thinner XG-128AH Silicone thinner is not necessary
    Flash by temp of 120℃ 6-10 seconds.
    After printing finish, to heat by 120℃- 140℃ for about 2 -3 minutes.
    After printing , to cure by 100℃ for about at least 30 minutes for crossing linker have to heat at least 30 minutes to get supper fastness .
