the reason why its better to click slightly slower is because there is a cooldown for both the swinging of the sword and the invulnerability of the player hit.
the sword swing cd is about 0.3 seconds, while the i-frame is about 0.05 seconds, which makes fast clicking a lot worse as it has s and swing cd overlap. this also explains why clicking every 68-ish milliseconds is more ideal than blindly swinging.
note that even if the sword animation plays, it does not mean it is a true swing
Edit: I'm not sure if this is completely true, but this is a pretty accurate explanation from what testing has done and what information available poses
I did a test where I timed how fast it would take to hit a player 10 times, using different methods. The fastest was the one tap method, then the max auto clicker, and the slowest was the 52 ms.
Edit: I noticed that in the video he used 68ms and not 52. I tried that out and it's actually just as good as the one tap method.

Pretty sure I saw they added a 12 cps limit in the patch notes a few months back.
Also 68 ms < 83.333 ms (1/12s), so actually with 68 ms u’ll swing every 136 ms, or at about 7.353cps (u could do it manually).
This is super interesting for me as somewhere on google I saw that the attack cool down was 300ms, so every multiple of 3cps was pretty nice, but this means that with the “golden” cps you’ll only swing every 408ms, which should be slower than DV’s 8cps, where he would swing every 375ms. Also I find that 5 - 5.5 cps is much better than 6, which is wierd. And also when DV swings his sword with the 7.3cps it looks much slower, maybe 4 - 5. Can anyone help me (I mean obviously it seems like the swing cool down is actually 400ms, even when I timed the hits on the dim guard and did the same timing on a cpstest I got 2.4cps(416ms) but then where’s the xtra 100ms from? Some other comment mentioned a 0.3s swing cool down too so idk. And what about the part where it doesn’t look like 7.3cps?)

Guardian and Players are different. What works for guardians may not work for players. Guardians don't move much and are very slow and predictable. Players move all over the place rly fast so its a lot harder to time ur hits on them than guardians.
As long as your able to track other players, there is minimal difference

@DV Plays I know this is very off topic but i came across a issue for building custom matches. I was wondering if you could ask a dev if they could do this update one day but. When you make a custom shop in custom matches they don't save and you can make a team shop so just that team can buy things (I know that part isn't a issue but it would help)

I am a mobile player and I can agree autobridge abusers are pretty annoying but like fr, it is nothing compared to ppl who just abuse of this auto clicker strat. Like the fact that it can perfectly time it everytime you build and sword fight other ppl is just to overpowered and leaves a huge disadvantage to us mobile players and anyone who is not using this pvp method.
I'm glad DV cleared this up, but I really doubt the devs could fix this without making the game worse.

he used F6 but i recommend a key that is close to wasd just make sure if your using a kit, the ability hotkey isnt the same as the auto clicker or it wont work

When you are in a low ping server 1 tap is better than spam clicking. But when you are in a high ping server, spam clicking is better
still shouldn't spam that much tho should be maybe 70% speed of normal click
heres the thing, im the only serious one in the team, others gen camp. its like the game hates you. basically: i get a solo team while others are populated, i am populated but my team is garbage, my entire team gen camps, i tell them what to do but they kind of ignore it
The timing should be changed to the CPR chest compression timing.
5:04 No way that building is as fast as 1ms. That literally means 1000 times/s (the build height is probably much less than 200 blocks soo that’d be at most a fifth of a sec). What is actually the case, is that u’ve reached the 12cps limit.

@@alwinli3280 they make good kits bc if they make bad kits people will always talk bad about it, and it's not p2w, I've beaten Tier 50 kit users while using free kit of week, people who say it's p2w are the bad people who can't win and they think a kit gives people skill, they blame it on the kits cause the don't want to admit they are bad, or cause they can't lvl up to get atleast one rental ticket, and the devs never told anyone to sweat or tryhard so you can't blame it on the game, and yes Bedwars was made for fun that's why the added kits for diff gameplay which make the game more fun, you might not agree but what I've said of people who say the game is p2w is true, even if you don't accept it can't change the truth that you blame on kits instead of your skill!
Attack speed for sword can sometimes interrupt with hit registering, the wind enchant kinda shows it

Another really good sword strategy is 1 tap, the hits are much more accurate but slower, so when your opponent is spamming and getting not many hits, use 1 tap so all your hits hit

What they can do is if someone gets the exact same delay between every hit (aka using an autoclicker), they get warned a few times until a temporary ban.
