Falcons fans, you guys should realize that Dan Quinn helped recruit Keanu Neal to Florida. As someone who has been following Neal since he was in high school and watched everyone of his college games; I can tell you that this was a great pick. Not only does he have familiarity with Quinn and his defense, he's a class act and a great person. During spring of last year, Gators reporters were claiming that he was the fastest guy on the team. His 40 time isn't a reflection on how fast he is. On top of that, the dudes absolutely JACKED and hits like a truck. Just check out the guys he laid out in the video; Derrick Henry, Dalvin Cook, Jalen Hurd, etc.

Born July 26, 1995. Played high school football for the South Sumter Raiders (FL). Played college football for the Florida Gators. Drafted #17 overall by the Atlanta Falcons. First game is August 11 vs. Washington Redskins. I am a South Carolina resident and can say that both of these teams have a strong fan base here. Sunday afternoons were spent at my grandparents' house watching the Falcons. The Redskins also have a big fan base in SC. Some fans are so hardcore Skins fans that they won't pull for the Falcons or Carolina Panthers, basing their argument on the fact that the Skins were here first.

If we waited to try and get this guy in the second round, we would have had to trade up because a lot of teams picking early wanted him and we don't have any trade anmo, so we either risk trading down and losing out on him and the other guys we wanted or we take him at 17, who I think fits our scheme better than Lawson or Lee, and can be an essential piece to this Falcons defense. Neal is a plug in and play now box safety punisher, William moor won't be missed on the field .... also he can possibly play niccle lb as well.. Spence may drop to 50 or Dodd, that's less of bust factor... and we can still get deion in the third... don't judge badly, we just completed our secondary
