  • During the Kurukshetra war of Mahabharata, Arjuna hesitated to fight the battle where he had to kill his own kinsmen. And so Krishna went on to teach the Bhagvat gita to Arjuna to show him the reality as it is. We have analyzed the Bhagvat gita and came up with these 16 invaluable lessons.
    This video will present you with the teachings of lord krishna about nature of the soul, Our binding existence, Karma, Dharma , How to live, Who we are, after life and so on. Hope this will be of some use to all of you.

    Much Love and respect to all of my Dharmi/Hindu brothers and sisters everywhere, from me (a born and bred British man age 56, who is a Pagan, and who lives here in London U.K). ... I Love what little I know of Sanatana Dharma/Hinduism and the Vedas and the Upanishads etc, and I am currently reading the Bhagavad-Gita. ... Hare Krishna!

    As someone who has many views on religion i wholeheartedly open myself to Krishna's teachings, peaceful and truly a messiah next to Jesus Christ. People shouldn't compare these 2 because both have different teachings but in essence they are the same.
    I truly hope people can see this with an open mind. Religion is supposed to be thought not fought over.

      I respect everyone’s faiths but Hindu scholars agree that between the 4th and 6th century AD, the scriptures for lord Krishna have been slightly rewritten or reshaped to be similar writings borrowed from Jesus. There was a lot of borrowing from other scriptures back then. I know Krishna has been around for many centuries in writings, but those writings have changed significantly due to influence.

      @Pani Puri there has been a little bit of influence onto Hinduism from Christianity. The Jews and indo aryans in the 10th century bc traded with each other and also got along well. During this era there was mild influence onto the vedas, for example in the bible there is Adam and Eve (in Hebrew it’s adama and hawwah). In the Vedas, they are named Adamah and Havyavati which was influenced from adama and hawwah. Having said this the two stories are not exactly the same. After some point though Hinduism progressed as it’s own distinct religion. There is not a link between the geeta and the bible

      Jesus was born in Jerusalem in Israel about 2100 years back. Thus, Bible came to existence after him (Jesus).
      Period of Sri Mad Bhagavad Gita is end of Dwapar Yug , which is about 5,500 years back and then there was none any other civilization in any other country. The whole earth was named as Bharat Varsha and it being ruled by Indian Kings. There was then only one great culture i.e. Vedic Sanatan Dharma, which is now known as Hinduism. This is the history, that first civilization was grown here. This is only Sanatan Dharma and then came Christian and then Islam about 1440 years back. We are oldest one in whole world.
      Secondly, you can not compare any other religion with Sanatan Dharma, because, they are different from the main philosophy of Hinduism. For Instance- there is concept of Rebirth system and 84 Lakhs different Yonis and one soul has to take birth and death repeatedly. Birth is also possible in different Yoni as per Karma. Destiny is made on the basis of Karma. Here is the concept of Atma and Parmamta, Yagna, which Christian and Islam both reject. So, how he (Your friend) claim that Bhagwad Gita is copied of Bible?
      Preaching of Bhagwad Gita is beyond his mind and imagine. Bhagwaan has disclosed several mystery to Arjuna and he also defined about the Karma- Akarma, Gyan Marg, Bhakti Marg. Atma and Parmatma. Three Guns of nature and about Rebirth of human beings unless he attains Lord Supreme Sri Krishna.
      Bhagwad Gita also described about one Supreme Being Parmatma and Bible too, but there are lots of difference between the doctrine of two Granthas. There are several gods also in Hinduism for running and commanding different Loks and nature and they all get energy from Lord Supreme Personality, Lord Vishnu. /Jai Sri Ram/

      @@Shashikant-bi4ex it’s not a question of which God, prophet or person was born first, it’s about having faith based on some evidence whether it’s historical, archeological, psychological etc. Yes, Hinduism originated further back more than Christianity but they didn’t start writing things down a lot later ie about 2500 bc. We know this because of carbon dating and scriptures found. The vedas was influenced by Genesis (Old Testament in the bible). Where do you think Adamah and Havyavati came from? We have Adam and Eve in English derived from the Hebrew adamah and Ḥawwāh. Adamah is Hebrew for earth or land. This is evidence that our scripture (some) were borrowed. Jews and ancestors or Hindus traded with each other hence this is where the influence came from. As for temples, the Jewish temples and Christians churches have nothing to do with Hindu temples so it’s irrelevant to say ‘which temple came first’. Your word temple in English derives from the sanscrit ‘place of worship’. Jewish Temple in English comes from the Hebrew word ‘house’. Also people in Hindu temples practise their faiths completely differently from Jews and Christians. Because things were written down at the same time between Jews and early Hindus, it doesn’t matter that hunidusim came before Judaism/Christianity. Scholars have concluded that there is no influence from Christianity to Hinduism. The New Testament (second half of the bible) has the most evidence in the world out of all faiths with a 98% accuracy with cross referencing.

    • @Nick-cb2ht
      @Nick-cb2ht Před 3 lety

      @ZebraZ everything you just said was completely wrong and you have no evidence either. Firstly, yes Hinduism is older than Christianity but there were religions in cave men days that were similar to Hinduism, Greek and Roman religions. Next off, Jesus never went to India lol. There is just no evidence. That was a myth. It’s also not a matter of ‘what religion came first’ but truth is Nate most important one. With Hinduism you have to do certain rituals and avoid certain foods etc to make salvation. In Islam you have to pray 5 times a day. In cavemen days you had to make sacrifices otherwise the god’s would get ‘upset’. Christianity is the only faith in the world where it’s not considered to be a religion but a personal relationship with God. While Hinduism encourages sacrifices and dietary restrictions, Jesus chose to die for us so we can achieve salvation and understand love. Christians don’t have to do anything to achieve salvation due to Jesus’ death. I was soul searching for years and have consulted scholars and theologians. I have always come back to Jesus because if you read Isaiah chapter 53 versus 5, you’ll see a very accurate description of Jesus’ birth, death and ministry. And yes it was written about 800 years before he was born! Secular scholars have even found the early copy of the Isaiah scroll which had been carbon dated to a many centuries before he was born. This is one of the examples for evidence. You need to do some more theological research because you’ll find that secular scholars who have phds would disagree with you. Peace brother.

    • @Nick-cb2ht
      @Nick-cb2ht Před 3 lety +2

      Dude you’re factually wrong again. Jesus said there is one God which is God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. One God 3 persons. Also Christianity includes the Jewish bible, doesn’t replace it. Jesus was talked about in the Jewish bible many times..38 times. Next thing, there have been many Jewish and bible scrolls found in the middle east which proves that tre Jewish bible and Christina bible have not been edited. Hindu scholars say the vedas has been influenced from Judaism and Christianity, there is no evidence that Hinduism has influenced Christianity. Adam and Eve derive from Hebrew words; adamah and havva which means land and life. In Hinduism, it’s evident that Adam and Eve In sanscrit was copied over to (since there is no link between Sanskrit and Hebrew). The Jews and Indo aryans traded with each other which is where the first holy book got influenced from the Hebrew/Christian bible. Jesus was a historical figure as well.
