    • @jonah.barros
      @jonah.barros  Před 2 měsíci +2

      It would depend. The job requires standing, walking, patient positioning, pushing beds, digital dexterity, and intubation.
      if you can do all of that then yes

    • @jonah.barros
      @jonah.barros  Před 2 měsíci

      Most people find shadowing through one of their contacts from work or family/friends. One tip if you can't do that would be to drop off some baked goods to be delivered to the anesthesia department with a written letter asking to shadow. That might help your chances as offering shadowing is a BIG favor from an anesthesiologist or AA

    Of the 4 hospitals I’ve worked at (Fl & Ga), they don’t have Anesthesia Assistants. 👨‍⚕️ As an OR nurse, I’ve only worked with CRNAs and LPNs (they assisted the Anesthesiologist & CRNAs by setting up). Is there job stability for you guys? 🤔

    • @jonah.barros
      @jonah.barros  Před 3 měsíci +4

      We won't be in every health system as it's still a growing profession and AAs I've spoken with tend to stick at their first home hospital for years/decades. But that doesn't impact the overall demand for AAs much. There's been nothing but increasing job prospects over the last few years.
