Have an idea for your lists.. maybe you can start including 1 or 2 fish or inverts that didn't quite make the actual list with reasons why they couldn't make the cut Much love over here, great channel!
Awesome! I really appreciate you putting this list together and giving me the shout out. Encouraging to see some of the fish I'm considering are on this list too :)
Please do a top 10 fish for a 60 gallon tank, I’d help a lot of people (including me) since 60 is a weird medium between a not so big but no so small aquarium, thanks!! Greetings from Costa Rica 🇨🇷
I love these videos and how you break them down to tank gallons size. I think dimensions of the tank are also important though. I have a 60 gallon cube. It's actually a fairly common size in this hobby. This tank lacks the swim space that others close to this volume may provide. Can you do a top 10 for this size?
Love the videos, and using this to help brain storm a fresh start to a WB Frag 85.3 I'll be starting after a move so using this as a help to figure out what I want in my tank
I has 2 royal grammas and both died for no apparent reason. They were in 2 different tanks and all other fish did fine. They both died within a week or two of buying them! I loved them when alive! Very beautiful and active, perfect for a nano tank!
Fathead! I love the pygmy angels (like the flameback) and they are reef safe (according to most) I have a sixline... mines fine but if he goes mean you gotta be able to catch him. I think the pink streaked wrasse looks similar and does the same job. There's also lots of other wrasses like the yellow coris that do the same job, look amazing and are less risky. Obviously Mr Grumpy is your fave - you should just put it number 1. The Royal Gramma is a great choice - think it should always go in at the end though ;)
I just got a 75 a couple months ago. So far have 2 clownfish 2 neon gobies, Coral Beauty, Lawnmower Blenny and currently quarantining a Black Cap Basslet, Tomini Tang and Mccoskers Flasher Wrasse.
Just started my own saltwater aquarium and just wanted to say THANK YOU! I’ve learned quite a bit from watching your videos and have subscribed because i look forward to your future videos👍🏻
One of the things I don't think many people cover when recommending fish is where in the water height wise fish are likely to be. Now I know it's not definite, things like rock work and cover can make a difference but when stocking my tank I tried to get some fish for all "heights". For example I have chromis and a Naoko's Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus naokoae) which actually tend to stay high in the water, I have a powder brown tang, a foxface, some pyjama cardinals along with other wrasse which tend to be more middle. Goby and the like which tend to be ground level.
The royal grama is a good looking fish. Would love to have one but I don't want that issue. Also I don't know what you are doing here. You are making me want to upgrade my tank to a bigger one. Kidding. I have wanted to upgrade to a 150 since I got my 50 gallon up and going. Keep up the great material.
Please do one for a 180 gallon tank too! I'm getting a waterbox 220.6 with a 180 gal display and would love to know what you think as far as great fish for a tank that size! Thanks for all the great videos!
Samething that happend to your moms tank happend to me aswell. But in my case is was a bicolor dottyback. Had to return it to the LFS as it ruled the tank and couldnt keep other fish .
Love the video. But I wont ever have a cardinal fish again. I've had four and all four have either gotten stuck in my filter or got caught by my power head.
I have a 65 gal reef tank with 2 Mocha Clowns, Midas, Melanarus, Royal Gramma and a Fathead. I've tried to add firefish and they were attacked. I'm hoping to add Flamehawk, try to Blue Reefs again and eventually a yellow eye Kole tang-- You thoughts on the compatibility of those? "
Which site is best to order fish from? I hear a lot of negative stuff at work (PetSmart) about some salt water sites. Even tho we don’t sale the fish we sell the stuff to convert to salt water and have new customers ask where to purchase fish.
I have a 75 gal fish marine tank, it's been setup for over 2 months with5 medium fish in the tank. I have the aqua clear 110 filter with no skimmer. My problem is that the water is cloudy. What do I do to clear it up
My Sixline is pretty good. Only really has problems with 1) other wrasses, 2) Other fish not playing nice with other tankmates, and 3) when he is hangry and mad at his tankmates for not leaving him much food. Even then, only with #1 does he get truly aggressive with chasing and attempting to cause harm. The other two, he just gets in their faces and maybe nudges them away. It was only because of #1 (and the fact that I really wanted a fairy wrasse) that I removed him from my 29 gallon, as my Sixline was the peacekeeper of the tank. He now is in the only other tank I have, a 10 gallon with lots of rockwork that seems to keep him busy zooming in and out of while occasionaly getting mad at the Exquisite Firefish when it hardly leaves any mysis for the Sixline to eat.
I have a fat head in my 55 plexiglass, 2 gold nuggets, 2 platinum clowns, 2 Midas blennies, 1 purple tang, 1 Dory, 1 royal Gamma, 1 Naoko Wrasse, 1 blue spot jaw, 1 juvenile queen angel, 1 long nose butterfly. Now I’m just waiting for a magnificent fox face. They are all civilized citizens except the purple tang who chases everyone.

Love the list! I didn't go with those angels... I got the pygmy cherub.
Good choice!
The angel eats coral, with few exceptions.
Can you do a Top Ten Predator Tank Fish list? I love big aggressive fish, they're absolutely awesome
Where do you live ? I have 4 predator fish I’m trying to sell
@@axelslegitmarineparadise5040 It really depends on what type of predators you're trying to get rid of, can you tell me what they are?
Drago into the Game I have a Assassi Trigger, Rectangle Trigger, Undulated Trigger and a Sixline Soapfish Grouper
@@axelslegitmarineparadise5040 Ive already got some triggers but that grouper interests me. I stay in Alabama are you anywhere close to there?

plus I would have thrown in a baby yellow tang - just to keep everyone on their toes ;)
Well Jeff now you need to do a top 10 for a 120 tank 😁
Go for 180 or atleast 150
I just got a 75 a couple months ago. So far have 2 clownfish 2 neon gobies, Coral Beauty, Lawnmower Blenny and currently quarantining a Black Cap Basslet, Tomini Tang and Mccoskers Flasher Wrasse.

You think 2 pajama cardinals would be okay for a 20 long ?
Yes
My 6 line is a fun guy
Cool could you please do a list for a 50 gallon tank ;)
Lets see what I can do!
@@MadHattersReef my new tank will be 50-55 display volume so that would be awesome
These prices are incredible. I can't find any of these for close to those prices in the city I live in. The mark up of some fish stores is ridiculous.
It’s an old video too.
Can you make one on a 50 gallon just so i can get a idea on mine kinda in the middle
Love the top 10 you are making. It would be better though if you add videos or more images than the only one you put. Nevertheless, its useful
Love the video. But I wont ever have a cardinal fish again. I've had four and all four have either gotten stuck in my filter or got caught by my power head.
Top list thanks
No problem 👍
Yeah you gotta add the royal gramma last.
Next time
Good list, but if you add in proper order can do these from 20 gallons on up. Check out the prices compared to a year ago. Prices have gone nuts.

100 gallon next please i have a waterbox 100.3 and have been waiting to see what goes in yours
Just a quick question being a novice here when we discuss gallons do we include a sump refugium towards the number?
I don't consider that, when talking about minimum tank size
@Mad Hatter's Reef thank you in all the videos out there no one ever explains that...
I have a 55 galon tank, can i take this video of refference? Hi from Argentina by the way! love your videos

I may have...
I have 2 red stripped cardinal fish, will they get along with kaudern cardinals? I have a 90 gallon cube

UV could help but it may clear up on its own.

What website is this to order from
Does anyone know what site he is using?
