I’m an Arsenal fan, so I don’t really care what United do. I watch cause Mark is entertaining and pretty funny most of the time. But I just listened to the fan forum for like the first time ever, and I listened to somebody quote word for word what Mark said about Ten Hag. I think we should all support Mr. TH. He clearly knows what he is doing, the team plays well, they clearly know what they should do and where they should be, especially in midfield and in defense. He is just unkucky I mean, Man Utd dominates most games and the other teams manage to score on the only opportunitites they get. He is so unlucky beacause of this never seen before phenomenon called "player injuries" and watered pitches, it is just insane and never seen before. Also the club does not let him spend money or get the players he wants. He should absolutely stay at Man Utd. and be supported by everyone and surely next year all this bad luck will go away and we will finally see what's what. Go go Mr. TH! Again this season, Man Utd allowed yet another team to basically walk over them. Allowing 15+ shots on goal. This is not down to injuries, it's down to tactics. You can't really defend ten Hag.
Man Utd are playing their 2nd choice right-back as their left-back, and 3rd-6th choice center-backs (depending how you order Maguire, Evans, Lindelof). You have to blame injuries at least a little

Foul was on the line at best. 100% penalty for Bournemouth at the end. The still Sky used wasn’t even when the contact took place. Outrageous decision by VAR to overturn that and not overturn the handball which was never a penalty. ManchestVAR United strike again.

Arsenal fan here, at no point does Mark blame the game on the pitch. He was just expressing his frustrations in the moment. And after experiencing Liverpool's pitch in December I sympathize with his feelings there.
I also sympathize with the idea of not apologizing for being lucky. I'd have taken a lucky decision against City to make up for the Newcastle game.

What Manchester united needs , is a clearout and a squad reset.. They should keep the players like Mainoo, Garnacho, Bruno, Onana, Dalot, Martinez, Højlund... build the rest of the team around those players (some of you might disagree on which players to keep and sell)...
Then theres also another issue with united's play style. They cant keep the ball longer than 5 seconds.
Ten hag should drop the long ball style. Its modern football..more and more teams start to implement tactics where you play out from the back and not play long balls very frequently like united do.. this is one of the issues why united can't keep the ball for longer than 5/6 seconds...
Another observation from the Bournemouth game is, United allow them to get pushed back when Bournemouth have the ball..there is not really pressing from the players.. you never see City,Liverpool, or Spurs does this.. United need to implement a similar type of pattern, where they perform counter press, create triangles around players with the ball. try to win the ball quick, and move foward with the ball to the opponent box.
With this possible, they going to need hungry and fit players. With the current team, its not going to work.
