@@kayden2119 A lot of CZcams reaction folk don't seem to have any experience with Newgrounds animators or their work. Their closest frame of reference is Meat Canyon, who I now realize is probably the only mainstream animator left on CZcams.
It came out in 2022 so the confusion is excusable to those not familiar with the animators

Fun fact: the dude living in the walls in the first episode is voiced by Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things. The dude who sings the song in the Shrimp and "Shrimpina" episode is the same dude who sang the pokemon theme song.

- Desmond’s Big Day Out - This episode first aired on Adult Swim on April Fools Day 2020. The writers Michael Cusack and Zach Hadel worked on the pilot in 2019, and it was released during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The rest of the episodes were made during the pandemic, meaning every conversation or argument Pim and Charlie had was done over Skype, Discord and other online meetings. I only connected that while watching this video, watching the look in the eyes of Grease as he proudly proclaimes that there is still some more footage left showing that Grease slowly over years caused Salty's arteries to clogg causing the heart attack that killed him.

The co creator Zach, was doing animation on New Grounds since the early 2000s maybe even before. This show is actually made by a ton of old New Grounds Animators and CZcams creators. Papa meat likely watched these guys growing up and was inspired by them.
The executive was an ass because he hired gleb because he displayed a frog-like demeanor, and then gets mad when he acts too much like mr frog

What I love about the ending of the Salty's episode is a couple of subtle implications. First, the mascots smash their way out the front door, they could've done that anytime. Second, due to Salty dying from a heart attack, that technically means that it WAS Grease who murdered him.

48:15 I could be wrong but supposedly that whole bomb made by Mip was possibly a reference to the Bjork stalker. Bjork is a famous singer who had this mentally insane stalker. He was like so damn obsessed with her. And when he learned that she was already in a relationship, he planned revenge on her by sending her a homemade bomb that would spray acid at her face. He then decided to unalive himself with a gun and he recorded it in his video diaries. When authorities saw his videos and learned about what he planned against bjork, they luckily managed to track down and stop the bomb before it reached bjork.
