Being Mexican-American I dont usually listen to this type of music because I'm not exposed to it, but after losing the love of my life to cancer a dear friend of mine introduced me to this song and it brought back all the lovely amazing memories we once shared together and as I listened to it I realized she may be gone but her spirit lives within me. I've been depressed the last 2 years of my life after losing her but now I realize I must continue my life because I know Audrey wouldn't want to see me this way.
Hi Alexander, I just saw your "whose portrait is this?" comment to this video >> czcams.com/video/Z39KxbbtCC0/video.html I guess You Tube is like a guide on a musical journey :) Blessed Sunday to you Alexander.
Armenia you're a beautiful country. So much culture, history, tradition. You've had to suffer so much, so many souls are gone. Praying for a better future. Me as a pole I know what the meaning is fighting for independence and losing a lot of people🇦🇲♥️🇵🇱🕊️✝️
I am from Iran. Armenians are among the most respected and cultured people in the country, in the region, and in our history. We truly love them. They suffered a lot (especially during these two last centuries). They deserve peace, respect, prosperity, and recognition of what they have been through.
Thank you, as an Armenian that was born in Iran and had to leave as a child, your words touched me. I have family still living in Iran, my dad's best friend was Iranian. Your culture has given us so much, our lives were enriched being born in your land and amongst your customs. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
This music and the sound of the Duduk goes to the depths of my soul. So much sorrow and pain expressed in this. I'm going through a really tough time In my life and somehow, this music helps me in the process. I'ts like you just want to reach out to god and surrender. I surrender. This picture of the woman speaks a lot about the great people of Armenia, their beauty , culture, and what they have gone through for centuries. Love and respect to the Armenians.
The young woman in this photo is Evelyn Nesbitt. She was a model and stage actor. Before I knew this I assumed she was an Armenian peasant that may have survived the genocide. But seeing Evelyn Nesbitt in this dress it gives you the vision how beautiful the Armenians are. May God continue to keep and comfort all that died in that awful tragedy. @@therapeuticmusic0 Hello Juan… I always liked the nomadic culture of the Armenians. They had their own social practices that made them targets for discrimination. Their folk music and dance are rooted in ancient traditions that are still passed down today. Every time when I see this photo of Evelyn Nesbitt I see how beautiful the Armenians are. They are close knit and family oriented. The Turkish government should acknowledge their crimes for the Armenian genocide as our government should apologize to the native peoples of the United States. People can forgive, but will always remember the pain and suffering. God Bless the Armenians and all others that were mistreated. David Page.
As a Kurd, I want to express my heartfelt sorrow for the tragic events in which Armenians and Assyrians suffered at the hands of (some) Kurds. The pain and loss experienced by these communities are profound and deeply regrettable. It is unfortunate that our ancestors were complicit, influenced by the Turks, in these atrocities. It is important to acknowledge these historical injustices and strive for understanding, reconciliation, and a commitment to ensuring such tragedies never happen again. By recognizing the past, we can work together towards a future of peace and mutual respect.
I am Indonesian, but the great grandson of an Armenian survivor who somehow made it to Java and married the daughter of a local who happened to be one of the first Christians in Java. For some reason I somehow identify with my great grandfather the mysterious wanderer who lost everything, and yet succeeded in establishing himself as a family man in an alien place half a globe away and made it his own. He had to have spiritual strength... And listening to the music it is as if he close and touches my soul
I am crying as I read this and listened to this music. I am Indonesian as well, and when I was a little girl, me and family had to flee from my hometown as the hard line moslem attacked. One of my cousins, our neighbors and some hundreds of the townspeople were killed. I was born in Poso. I hope we all are given strength and be happy in Indonesia

The instrument, Duduk creates such a soulful and melancholy tone to convey the suffering of a people. I do not know if this song was composed after the genocide of the Armenians by the Turks (still no official recognition). This music reminds me of Jewish instrumental that is soulful, but often with violins. The women in this photograph is not Armenian in ethnic dress, but Evelyn Nesbitt, a famous model who was very famous.

This picture of the woman speaks a lot about the great people of Armenia, their beauty , culture, and what they have gone through for centuries. Love and respect to the Armenians.
The young woman in this photo is Evelyn Nesbitt. She was a model and stage actor. Before I knew this I assumed she was an Armenian peasant that
may have survived the genocide. But seeing Evelyn Nesbitt in this dress it gives you the vision how beautiful the Armenians are. May God continue to
keep and comfort all that died in that awful tragedy. They will never be forgotten. David Page…East Millinocket, Maine.

Hello Juan…
I always liked the nomadic culture of the Armenians. They had their own social practices that made them targets for discrimination. Their folk music and dance are rooted in ancient traditions that are still passed down today. Every time when I see
this photo of Evelyn Nesbitt I see how beautiful the Armenians are. They are close knit and family oriented. The Turkish government should acknowledge their crimes for the Armenian genocide as our government should apologize to the native peoples of the United States. People can forgive, but will always remember the pain and suffering. God Bless the Armenians and all others that were mistreated. David Page.
Sehr, sehr schön !
