I started writing a new epic fantasy novel | camp nanowrimo

In this writing vlog I started my first week of camp nanowrimo! It was a little bit of a rollercoaster week I'm not going to lie, but I made some great progress in my novel 🙂
The writing vlog includes writing from all 7 days of camp nano week 1, observations about scenes I'm liking the most, downtime and self-care during the week. It was an interesting week!

After finishing editing for the rest of the video I'm kind of feeling like this introduction sets the wrong tone. What did you think of it?

I don't know about tone, but I would agree it doesn't fit the style rest of the video.

"Each imperfect step moves closer to your goal." You don't know how much I needed to hear that. I have tight schedule for this Nanowrimo, and yesterday I missed a day of writing. I guess I just have to adapt. Thank you for an other amazing video.

I'm happy it resonated with you! It's a balance, because sometimes we can be too lax on ourselves. But other times, we need to give ourselves grace! I hope you have another solid week of nanowrimo :)

Small steps are better than no steps. :) Glad you made some progress on your writing project regarding your physical health. Give yourself some rest time and gentle stretching would probably be okay to add after a few days of rest to help the muscles repair process.

Definitely, consistency is way more important than going all out in an unsustainable way!
As far as the legs, I think I could add a little bit of stretching now that it doesn't hurt quite as much, finally got my PT appointment next week, so hopefully that will help too 🤞

@@john_writing_ Hope your legs will get better soon! 🙂 I'm trying to get over being excited with how well draft 1 ch 1 rewrite came out to continue writing the rest of the book it hooks me into the story which is what I was going for.. Excitement is distracting me. 😅 Happy but need to focus. 😆
