- A Playlist of High Quality Audio of A.R. Rahman. Hearing the genius of A.R. Rahman and H. Sridhar in all its true glory is something to treasure for all generations. Away from bad encodings or MP3s. Many hours of cleaning up the audio in my spare time, over months, reprocessing them to make then sound the finest ever possible. I wouldn't dare to do this with any of the newer releases but this quality was once lost from a generation later. I do not own the copyright to any of these songs and they belong to the respective owners.

Oh! My! God! A track so worthy of being restored! Back in 1999, when this got released, it was rare to have two instrumental tracks in the same movie album. This, and Raaga Dance, were two awesome tracks, not to mention the Western version of Taal Se Taal Mila, that I was obsessed with! Lost count of of the number of the times I played that audio cassette!
Yes mine favourite is the western version .
H Sridhar and Sivakumar sound engineers magic..
Taal is hands down one of the best albums from AR Rahman!

I love how this channel mostly focuses on Rahman's work. Exposing Rahman's genius even more! I mean come on. the number of instruments and sounds Rahman used in 90s damn... What a Living Icon and a genius is AR RAHMAN!.
Back then, this partcular track made me a big fan if ARR. Still remember listening to this on walkman with the original cassette.

Hearing the breathing at last for the first time. Used to listen taal songs on Walkman closing my eyes when it released.
The Hindi first release version didnt have it. It was only in the Tamil release. The latest Taal CD rerelease however had this breathing part.

Was waiting for its restoration to share one thing that a particular beat in this song is already used in one of his song from the 1994 album Super Police. In the song "Muthamma Muthamma" the Congo Drum beat starts at 25 seconds ( czcams.com/video/bsh_z3qED9s/video.html ) is pretty much like the one starts at 00:16 in "The Beat of Passion". This part of this track is my favourite one because of the delightful high reverberation effect which feels like this specific drum beats are played in an indoor stadium or in a large cathedral.
A few more segments from the same "Muthamma" song is also reused in his other songs like certain beats and whistle in "No Problem" and the ending of "Mukkala".
