For folding the backseats...first you can pull out & up the bottom cushion part then push it down towards the front, then fold down the back cushion part.

I love mine the only thing I disagree that they did since I have the manual 6 speed is the shift notification popping up if go past 2k rpm..it’s a GT why would you add that telling somebody when to shift !!

@@BearerOfDreams well I don’t have mine anymore but they should have had a option to turn that off if you know how to shift ..SHIFT ASSISTANT or what ever you call that is not needed and the gears are so close together on this car it will want you to use 1-6th on the streets .was vey annoying to me .basically wanting to to shift exactly like a automatic transmission does , and of course I didn’t ,I didn’t buy a manual to be told how to drive my manual that’s the way I Saw it and the economy was not the much of a difference to even brag about .so to me that was pointless to even have that lol it got really good gas mileage regardless or how I drove it lol and it had variable valve timing so now it really wasn’t needed cause power will only be supplied when needed .was fun and zippy though I’ll give it that

why would a sunroof "cut down on headroom significantly?"

I've been eyeing the Hyundai Hatchback for a while as I'm looking for a vehicle that's not too expensive, fuel efficient and decent sized that way insurance is cheaper for me. Do you recommend the Hatchback 2013 or newer than that? Does it require alot of maintenance?

AA I’m on my third Elantra, first GT. The first two (02 and 05) went over 200,000 miles each with little more than recommended maintenance. Oil changes at 5k miles; timing belt/water pump every 60k. I’m retired now, but I commuted 90-100 miles a day in my previous Elantras. I’m three years into the GT, 30k miles. I’ve never owned a more reliable car.

No lumber support. Hard seats. Jittery ride. Carpet from the $1 store. No light in glove box. Hard cheap Asian tires - terrible ride. Cheap plastic wheel covers can crack/splinter in cold ($70 ea. to replace!). Hatch release hollow collects ice - hard to open. Rear headrests seriously hinder rear visibility. "Piano black" on dash attracts dust and lint. Rear window under spoiler difficult to clean. Flimsy rear wiper - practically useless.

Well, you're right about the rear headrests, anyway. Take 'em off if you don't have rear passengers.
